Simon Mann ex SAS led a team of mercenaries who were attempting to carryout a coup in Equatorial Guinea, a small oil rich state on the West Coast of Africa. Mann is now expected to be pardoned.

Senior plotters include Mark Thatcher, son of Lady Thatcher and former British Prime Minister. Jeffery Archer novelist and ex Conservative party chairman.

There are other known plotters.

IMHO, MI6 was behind this coup attempt. Mann could pose a major security threat to MI6. Has Mann done a deal with Equatorial Guinea? Will Mann publish?? There is book and film in this.

Equatorial Guinea had nothing to gain from keeping him locked up, so what will they demand form Mann for his release?

While Simon Mann is well known, this usually offers some protection, but only up to a point. Mann will be debriefed on his return to the UK, assuming E.G. has not found Mann another safe state willing to take him in. Only after debriefing, will MI6 be able to asses the situation. I would say Mann is at risk. And this morning, there will be a lot of very worried people.

According to today`s Telegraph, Simon Mann is VERY keen to prosecute Mark Thatcher and the other coup ring leaders. Mann may himself face charges, but this seems unlikely, as he has already served time, much of it in very inhumane conditions.

The NWO will be VERY busy trying to isolate their role in the coup.
