I`ve just watched Channel 4 News analysis, showing US bridge collapse; the central span collapses "flat"...both ends at the same time. Now, I could go with one end going, followed by the other a split second later. But this did not happen; the central span collapses flat...How and why? Cool

Question Idea Arrow Massive ULF 'Blast' Detected In US Bridge Collapse Catastrophe

Reports from Russia's Institute of Solar-Terrestrial Physics located in
Irkutsk are reporting today that their Siberian Solar Radio Telescope
(SSRT) detected a 'massive' ultra low frequency (ULF) 'blast' emanating
from Latitude: 45° 00' North Longitude: 93° 15' West at the 'exact'
moment, and location, of a catastrophic collapse of a nearly 2,000 foot
long bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

To the horrific destruction of the Interstate 35W Bridge which spanned
the Mississippi River we can read as reported by the Star Tribune News
Service:

"The 1,907-foot bridge fell into the Mississippi River and onto roadways
below. The span was packed with rush hour traffic, and dozens of
vehicles fell with the bridge leaving scores of dazed commuters
scrambling for their lives.

Nine people were confirmed dead as of 4 a.m. today. Sixty were taken to
hospitals and 20 people were still missing this morning. Authorities
said they expected the death toll to rise."

Russian Military reports state that the total collapse of such a massive
bridge, and in the absence of evidence linking its destruction to
terrorist activity, could only have been accomplished by an acoustic
weapon, of which the United States Military is known to possess.

These reports further state that one of the United States primary
research organizations into acoustic weapons research is Augsburg
College, and which is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and most
importantly less than 1 mile from the Interstate 35W Bridge collapse.

To the exact reason of why, and what exactly happened in this
catastrophe we can only speculate, but, with what is known about the
United States past history of using sophisticated weapons on their own
citizens for 'research' purposes it certainly lies in the realm of
possibility that this horrific tragedy when the subject comes to the use
of ULF weapons.

To the past usage of these new types of weapons we can read even back
into the 1980's of the United States research into their use as reported
by the CNN News Service:

"Imagine the implications of a weapon with no visible trace -- a weapon
that could knock out tanks, ships, and planes as fast as the speed of
light. The same technology, with modifications, could disorient and
even tranquilize military personnel, rendering them virtually helpless
in the battle zone. These are the new weapons of war we will examine in
this series.

For the past 40 years, the world has been riveted by the threat of
nuclear war, and more recently by the prospect of space defenses using
lasers and other modern technologies.

Lightning is the most dramatic form of energy to be found in nature.
Scientists have succeeded in creating limited types of artificial
lightning. And some think that these could be the forerunners of a new
type of directed-energy weapon, part of a family of weapons that operate
within the radio frequency segment of the electromagnetic spectrum, and
are thus referred to as radio frequency weapons."

To the dangers of ULF weapons being used against civilians we can read
the warnings of Dr. Rauni Leena Kilde, MD, the former Chief Medical
Officer for Lapland (northern Finland), who warned in 1999:

"When the use of electromagnetic fields, extra-low (ELF) and ultra-low
(ULF) frequencies and microwaves aimed deliberately at certain
individuals, groups, and even the general population to cause diseases,
disorientation, chaos and physical and emotional pain breaks into the
awareness of the general population, a public outcry is inevitable."

To the exact reason of why the United States would be targeting
Minneapolis with such a massive ULF 'blast' we can find in the exact
neighborhoods that surround the Interstate 35W Bridge, and which are
home to one of the largest Muslim populations in the United States,
including over 30,000 Somalis who are outraged by the US sponsored
invasion of their home Nation by Ethiopian forces.

For the American people as a whole, this catastrophe provides yet
another example of the consequences of their allowing their Military
Forces to gain total control over their economy and lives, and which
history has long shown leads always towards total destruction.

CORRECTION; further viewing show the central bridge span giving way on one side before the other, so not a flat fall. Sad

The post above should be taken seriously. This bridge had been inspected and while it was structurally deficient, it was in no way about to "fall down". Cool

Read a post on another site in which BBC News 24 were interviewing a local witness. The witness used to walk under the bridge daily. Just before the collapse, he noticed large drill holes in the bridge supports. As BBC News 24 does, this was a news loop and running during the early hours (UK time). When the interview came around again, there was buzzing noises over the audio.

The FBI are giving the collapse extra attention, including complete mapping of the site and it is rumoured that a military task-force is due anytme soon.

Forget bling bling Amerika. Not only is the US bust with its national debt, most US states are verging on bancruptcy. Country wide, US inferstructure is falling apart. Cool

In 1938, William Dodd, ambassador to Germany, sent President Franklin Delano Roosevelt the following message:

"A clique of U.S. industrialists is hell-bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime.... A prominent executive of one of the largest corporations, told me point blank that he would be ready to take definite action to bring fascism into America if President Roosevelt continued his progressive policies. Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there. Propagandists for fascist groups try to dismiss the fascist scare. We should be aware of the symptoms. When industrialists ignore laws designed for social and economic progress they will seek recourse to a fascist state when the institutions of our government compel them to comply with the provisions."

In 1933, Marine Corp Major General Smedley Butler was approached by a cabal of influential American bankers and industrialists working under the umbrella of the front group, American Liberty League. Their request of Butler: that he lead a 500,000 strong force of rogue veterans in a coup against FDR and the legal American government. The intent of this cabal, already supporting the efforts of Hitler and Mussolini in Europe, was to instill a government not unlike that of Hitler and Mussolini in the United States.

Butler went along with the scheme until he was able to ascertain who the participants were. He then blew the whistle on this group before the House Committee on un-American Activities. For his efforts, Butler was ostracized and black-balled by the mainstream media; his testimony before the House Committee on un-American Activities was omitted from the record. The cabal was never brought to justice, but the coup was foiled.

Who were the American bankers and industrialists involved in this plot to overthrow the legal government of the United States? According to Wikipedia, while most of the funding came from the Du Pont family, participants included U.S. Steel, General Motors, General Foods, Standard Oil, Birdseye, Colgate, Heinz Foods, Chase National Bank, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

And among the participants in this coup attempt was one Prescott Bush, father of George Herbert Walker Bush, 41st president of the United States, grandfather of George W Bush, current president of the United States. Prescott Bush was not only instrumental in bringing Hitler to power in Germany, Mussolini to power in Italy, but was also plotting to overthrow the legal government of the United States and establish a fascist state here. Prescott Bush served as a Senator from Connecticut and was a partner in the prominent investment banking firm Brown Brothers Harriman.

It was from the lips of George Herbert Walker Bush that the American people heard the phrase, “New World Order.” And America watched as GHW Bush passed the reins of power to his “good friend who is like a member of the family,” William Jefferson Clinton, who then passed the reins on to George Walker Bush in what can only be termed a fraud-ridden election, re-elected for a second term in the same manner.

Under the reign of George Walker Bush, we have watched him wage war on America, the American people, and American sovereignty; we have watched him institute executive order after executive order in his pursuit of absolute power, labeling himself “the decider” while the American legislative branch does absolutely nothing to curtail his abuse of power. His actions mirror those of Hitler in his quest for power in Germany.

And just like Hitler, Bush is using fear to keep the American people supporting his un-American activities, starting with the events of September 11, 2001. And every time Bush wants something more, another threat emerges and Congress and the American people, with few exceptions, fall in step. Yet the greatest threat to the American people, American sovereignty, the American way of life sits in the White House, not in Iraq, not in Afghanistan, not in the Middle East.

And if the reins of power are passed from George Walker Bush, which many at this point have serious doubts will happen, given Bush’s ability to wage war on the American people through terrorism and the American people’s willingness to blame the same on foreign born terrorists, that power will be passed, by corrupted balloting if necessary, to Hillary Rodham Clinton, protégé of self-avowed Marxist Saul Alinsky, who, in his book, Rules for Radicals, paid homage to Lucifer as “the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom.” (1971; Vintage Books; dedication page) Prophetic, indeed!

This past week we saw the collapse of the 35W bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Those in the know are ware that this bridge is part of the I-35 NAFTA Super Highway Corridor, bisecting the United States; providing transport on Mexican trucks of foreign cargo from the NAFTA port in Mexico through the United States to Canada and points east and west along that corridor. Later this month, Bush will meet with his Security and Prosperity Partnership counterparts from Mexico and Canada, President Felipe Calderon and Prime Minister Steven Harper, to further the dissolution of the United States, Canada and Mexico into the European Union style regional world government entity, the North American Union.

Unlike the quick disposal of the Murrah Building and the WTC complex in New York, both the targets of “terrorist activity”, the 35W bridge still lies in the water with the National Transportation Safety Board, the FBI, state and local officials mulling over the scene and promising that the reason for the failure will be found.

Remember, this is the same NTSB that did the flight simulation of the plane supposedly inbound to the Pentagon on September 11, 2001, for the FBI; the simulation that when studied by pilotsfor911truth.com using the flight data recorder information provided by NTSB, found that the plane in question actually over flew the Pentagon by 300 to 400 feet! Not only this, but that the simulator as provided by NTSB showed the plane on a different inbound trajectory than the path that supposedly sheered five light poles. When questioned about these obvious anomalies, the NTSB had “no comment.” Imagine that!

In the case of the 35W bridge, government officials knew the bridge was structurally deficient; that the bridge needed work; but did nothing to correct the problems. The government can lose 2.3 trillion dollars into a black hole in the Pentagon budget, money that has never been accounted for in the six years since September 10, 2001; the government can spend trillions on an illegal and unconstitutional false flag invasion of Iraq; but the government can’t fix bridges that provide access for the average American worker until after those bridges collapse and the resulting deaths become political fodder for talking heads such as George Walker Bush. It took the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate all of 48 hours following the collapse of the 35W bridge to write, introduce and pass HR 3311, providing $250 million to rebuild the 35W bridge. What is the worth of the lives lost because of government negligence?



Will the American people ever be told the truth about why the 35W bridge collapsed or will the government, in a CYA move so typical when wrong-doing is apparent, move to cover its tracks, obfuscate the issue, and provide no real answers? One has to wonder when people like W. Gene Corley, senior vice president of CTL Group, an engineering firm, who helped investigate both the Murrah Building and the WTC, are involved. Both sights were scrubbed as quickly as possible, with no criminal investigation, leading any reasoning individual to the conclusion that the government definitely had something to hide.



Adding insult to injury in the collapse of the 35W bridge, George W Bush, on August 4, 2007, before the microphones in Minneapolis, Minnesota, quipped, “God Bless the people of this part of the world.”

True to form, King George. Or has “the decider” now become World Emperor George?

George W Bush is obviously a chip off the old block!

Looks like my first suspicions were justified. Cool Looking at the comparison photos and the fact that no earthquake activity was reported. You can see that what ever brought this bridge down affected the whole structure at the same time. This is an example of the new "scalar weapons" being used by the NWO. Cool

"The collapse of the 35W bridge was explained to me thusly by a metallurgist who spent his life working with such things: the 35W bridge is what is known as a non-redundancy bridge. This means that each section of the bridge depended on the other sections of the bridge for integrity. If one section of the bridge failed, the whole bridge would come down. There are a number of bridges, all built about this time, that were built this way; and they were built this way to save money. In a non-redundancy bridge, if one part becomes weakened by structural deficiency (cracks, etc), the load is shifted to another part of the bridge. This continues until there is no place for the load to be shifted to and failure occurs. At the point failure occurred, the weight on the bridge would be of some import but not the total cause. The deck on the south end of 35W shifted 81 feet east while the structure shifted “slightly” west indicating that the bridge on the south end buckled. This is also where the collapse, as shown on the various video cameras, started. The south end is where the school bus and burning truck (tractor/trailer) can be seen. Prior to the collapse, there was also a UPS truck (tractor/trailer) behind the bus.



The 35W bridge had seen increased truck (tractor/trailer) traffic in the last few years as part of the NAFTA Super Highway Corridor. Given the already “structural deficient” condition of the bridge, this no doubt sped the collapse of the bridge. Blame is trying to be laid at the feet of the company resurfacing the bridge as their equipment was sitting on the bridge at the time of the collapse. This is the government instituting a CYA maneuver in an attempt to deflect lawsuits for negligence."

Sorry, but I didn`t see the bridge move left or right 81 feet. I saw the central span fall almost flat. I suggest you read the link in my post above.

"If" it moved 81 feet....where is the 81 foot gap...it must be somewhere? Cool

"Actually, all you have to do is look at the pictures of the south end of the bridge to realize something is amiss. The rest of the bridge collapsed “in place”; in other words, straight down. The south end of the bridge did not collapse “in place”. Maybe CJ can direct us to the video or pictures to which he/she refers when stating “I did not see the bridge move left or right 81 feet”. Was CJ from London in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the 35W bridge, when it collapsed? If so, was CJ specifically watching the south end of the bridge as it collapsed? If so, why was CJ specifically watching the south end of the bridge as it collapsed? While one might say this is ludicrous, this is what CJ infers.



Beyond that, such is a misquote of what I said. What I said was “The deck on the south end of 35W shifted 81 feet east while the structure shifted ‘slightly’ west indicating that the bridge on the south end buckled.” I will clarify so no misunderstanding can be wrought from my words: “The east edge of the DECK (what you drive on) on the south end of the 35W shifted 81 feet east from it’s original point while the west side of the SUPPORT STRUCTURE (what holds the bridge up) shifted “slightly” west indicating that the bridge on the south end buckled.”



As for a gap, I’m not sure what CJ is talking about. Just because one part of the bridge shifted one direction while another part shifted the opposite, does not mean there is going to be “a gap”. What there will be is support structure laying slightly to the west while the deck lays to the east and misaligned with the rest of the bridge."

Breaking News: at 6:05PM Central Time on Wednesday, August 1, 2007, the I-35W bridge suffered structural failure and collapsed into the Mississippi River. The accident happened at the height of rush hour with a reported 50 to 70 cars on the structure. There were many survivors, but tragically, a number of people were not so fortunate.

As MSM reports state, US inferstructure is in a bad way and as I`ve said in earlier posts. The US government and state governments aren`t in a position to finance this regeneration...the easy option is to make insurance and long term government debt foot the bill. I don`t know enough on this, but maybe national disasters get around budget controls.

By selectively using HAARP style weapons, maybe the US elite can defuse this growing problem. Cool

Evidence of increasing international trade truck traffic on Interstate 35
through Minnesota raises concerns that NAFTA Superhighway traffic
contributed to last week's collapse of the freeway bridge in Minneapolis.

WND has unearthed a Federal Highway Administration report dating back to
1998 that warned increasing NAFTA truck traffic was expected to create a
safety concern with bridges in states along the I-35 NAFTA Superhighway,
including Minnesota.
The study concluded that, "The I-35 Corridor's multimodal transportation
hubs – where air, rail, river, and truck cargo converge – make I-35 ideally
positioned to be a major route for what is expected to be increasing levels
of international trade activity."
The study warned that, "Over the next few decades, about 65 percent of I-35
will require major upgrades, however the entire route will have a continued
need for rehabilitating pavements, resurfacing sections of the highway, and
providing replacements of some bridge decks. Bridge substructures and
superstructures will also need to be maintained, requiring repairs to
maintain the integrity of the bridges."
The FHWA study was conducted in conjunction with the Departments of
Transportation in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota, and
assessed I-35 from Laredo, Texas, to Duluth, Minn.
A comprehensive study of freight traffic conducted by the Federal Highway
Administration, or FHWA, shows conclusively a large percentage of the
freight carried through Minnesota is carried by truck.
FHWA data show that in 2002, a total of 280.7 million tons of freight moved
through Minnesota, 86 percent of which was carried by truck.
The trend line shows dramatic increases projected, with freight traffic
through Minnesota expected to double by 2035, to a total of 551.5 million
tons, of which 88 percent will be carried by truck.
The bridge collapsed at rush hour, with an estimated 100-150 cars and trucks
on the structure in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Officials in Minnesota had been warned since 1990 that the bridge was
structurally deficient" and severely fatigued from the increasing volume of
traffic the bridge, which spans the Mississippi River along Interstate 35,
was receiving.
North America's SuperCorridor Coalition, Inc. (NASCO), a Dallas-based trade
association, also designates I-35 as a NAFTA Superhighway.
NASCO's website states, "There are no plans to build a new NAFTA
Superhighway – it exists today as I-35."
The original 2005 NASCO website opened with a graphic map of I-35 that
highlighted in yellow the continental nature of the I-35 NAFTA Superhighway,
illustrating clearly the highway's links into Mexico and Canada.

WND has previously reported the Minnesota Department of Transportation
joined NASCO as a member in 2006, after a heavy lobbying campaign launched
by NASCO executive director Tiffany Melvin.
As fully documented on the Texas Department of Transportation website, the
department plans to build a new Trans-Texas Corridor parallel to Interstate
35, and NASCO has yet to repudiate these new superhighway construction plans

The debate whether or not to build a new TTC-like NAFTA Superhighway
parallel to I-35 or to repair and rebuild I-35 to accommodate NAFTA and
other global trade traffic required by 2025 and beyond, including
projections of international truck and train freight travel, is now being
debated by the states north of I-35.
As WND has reported, Oklahoma City Mayor Mick Cornett has repudiated his
signing in 2004 of a document described as "The Declaration of North
American Integration."
Cornett told WND he was opposed to the creation of a North American Union or
the extension of TTC-35 into Oklahoma, "if the whole point is to make it
cheaper to transport containers from China coming through Mexican ports."
WND has also reported Oklahoma House Speaker Lance Cargill has invited to
Oklahoma Robert Poole, a prominent expert advising states to build toll roads as
"public-private partnerships," complete with financing from private investment
consortia seeking long-term operating leases on the new highways once completed,
according to the Trans-Texas Corridor model.
