I agree. Modern Democracy is a brilliant way of controlling vast populations by selling them the illusion that their elected governments have the power to affect their lives. The capacity of National governance to make a difference has declined alarmingly as global power, in the hands of a tiny elite has mushroomed.

You maybe know and astrology and 12 different signs. This is charlatanism, but mostly they know deep basic. This is an example of deep basic which will be here forever and will be never erased from a people, while there can be totally teror or resistance.

However as usuall, people have to get it by all of these experiences before will agree with something like a goverment according to a deep human nature, not populism or lies.

I always laugh to a people which think that they don't steal, cheat or kill people, that they are good inside. Mostly, mostly not.

I would be suprised if there would be 100 people in this planet capable enough to rule something.

Until more people are aware of who the self-appointed elite are and what they are doing to us, I cannot realistically see what can be done to stop them. All we can do is use whatever ways we can to increase awareness of the Bilderbergers, and their like. Once Bilderberg awareness is widespread, opposition to them can build and , once their arrogant activities are exposed, they can be stopped!

The internet is the only source of mass communication and information which is, so far, beyond the Elite`s control and is probably the only instrument with a powerful enough Global reach to give us hope. It may be only a crumb of comfort but think how it must irritate Bilderbergers to read message boards like these.

King Arthur and his Knights fought successfully against evil - so would a monarchical system with a king in charge be better?

As I have documented elsewhere the English Civlil War in the 1600s was fought by the merchant classes against the king who they could not bear stopping them privatising the land.

I prefer feudal to 'rule by committee' any day. Nevertheless democracy can do amazing things like kicking out Churchill after WWII and installing a n amazingly positive socialist government, health service etc.

Few would deny that the Bilderberg Group, Council on Foreign Relations and Trilateral Commission have shaped and controlled much of our lives in the last 50 years. Apart from a few well known Politicians and the odd crook like Conrad Black, how many people know the identity of this small group of people who seem to think they have the right to rule us?

This must be the only period in history when the population is largely ignorant of who their rulers are. Hiding behind the pretence of Democratic accountability their puppet governments can be kicked out of office by disenchanted voters but what chance do we get to vote out the puppeteers?

We can't really do anything except whinge and most people don't care a jot- too busy providing for their families, worrying about their jobs/house/car/promotions, blindly consuming, watching soaps and doing exactly what the "elite" want them to do, i.e be so busy(blinded) with the immediate surroundings they can't see further than that. I've discovered that childless people listen far more than those of my friends who've just had kids- the last thing they want to hear is that they've just stupidly spawned some cannon fodder/drones for future wars and that they will probably have it much worse than us!!
Anyway- who's to say the Bilderberg group aren't just the only Russian doll inside the farcical G8?There could well be another level- If these "elite" really wanted to meet in private to discuss what we eat and who dies don't you think they could helicopter/fly people about so efficiently they could have it somewhere so remote the cameras could never go?! Could be a massive red herring...

If the World`s most powerful individuals choose to meet in private I personally couldn`t care less - they probably do this all the time.

What I do object to, PV, is when they invite elected government ministers and public servants/government advisors etc to attend. These are only powerful because of the Public Office they hold - this is the only reason they are any use to Bilderberg.

I also object to Public money being used to provide security for the 3 day meeting - this is the responsibility of the host country. The 2009 Bilderberg Conference may be in the UK - probably at a Scottish resort with golf facilities - with UK taxpayers unknowingly footing the bill . This venue would be perfect for David Cameron to receive the Bilderberg seal of approval ( as Obama did this year) before he becomes PM.
