So the great Tony wants the police to review 900,000 old crimes using a finger print database! Cool

Some of these crimes will have been committed by people already under lock and key. Many crimes will have been committed by one person...so lets be really kind. Lets assume the police solve just 15%...I think thats a fair number.....now lets see.....yes, thats 135,000 crimes. allowing for those already in prison and multiple crimes committed by one person, lets snatch a number, say 20,000 people convicted....thats about 15 news prisons to be built, year on year running costs and gridlocked courts.

Is there nothing that this crank in No10 won`t say to further his Big Brother agenda. Laughing
