I agree that this has to be the best episode of top gear I have ever seen.
I was glad I had sky+'d it so that I can watch it again and again....
At times, I was thinking 'how did they get away with showing this?' But I think overall its just light harted fun.
And its showing the truth, which should never be a problem.
I dont think it could have been a stunt to close down top gear... I think top gear is to stick around for a long time.
It was getting more watchers than Big Brother last year, and with every series it is getting funnier and getting people to watch it who aren't even interested in cars.
Top gear has had a huge ammount of complaints in the past. Plenty more than they got for this episode, and had never been shut down. They make fun of the complaints they get on the show too.
The programme has to be one of the most money making ones of the bbc when it is showing, so why get rid of that?
Dont forget.. this money goes to the government................. |
