Sir Richard Dearlove took the witness stand today. Dearlove said he wasn`t aware of any plans to murder anyone in his 26 years with the service.

SIS is run on a need to basis. So Dearlove wouldn`t know a thing, unless he was directly involved. As head of MI6, there would no need for Dearlove to be involved with assassinations directly. As Fayed pointed out, the murder of Diana and Dodi involved MI6, French intelligence and the CIA....as far as I know, Fayed did not mention Mossad. It is likely that while a MI6 cell were involved, the only things they provided directly, was oversight, witnesses, communications with verious other parties and the freak family at Balmoral. The French handled the road cameras, traffic lights, the odd road block to keep traffic down and all rescue and medical activities, including the illegal embalming of Diana`s body. One thing is for sure, you can totally discount Dearloves evidence, because he could never say anything else from what he said in court and the fact that he turned up is the biggest give away to MI6`s involvement.

Serving MI6 agent says he plotted assassination and was told to put it in writing. This witnesses identity was protected and their evidence directly counters evidence given by MI6 chief Sir Richard Dearlove....further proof that cells within MI6 operate without any oversight. It is reasonable to believe that a group within MI6, who were loyal to Prince Philip, could of had a role in Diana and Dodi`s murder.
