Security policy designed to enhance passport security has totally failed. Very Happy

Over 90,000 new passport applicants were put through compulsary face to face interviews...not one application was rejected! Very Happy

The Identity and Passport Service said the measures deterred bogus applicants. Last year, 6500 passport applications were rejected before the interview stage...so 90,000 wasted interviews. Cool
