Jim Johnson, Former Fannie Mae CEO, To Begin VP Search for Obama
Atlanta, GA 5/22/2008 04:08 PM GMT (TransWorldNews)
Former Fannie Mae CEO Jim Johnson has been asked by Senator Barack Obama on Thursday to start the search for a viable Vice Presidential candidate.
Johnson and Obama are starting the top-secret search as Obama edges closer to the Democratic nomination. Johnson did the same job for Democratic nominees John Kerry in 2004 and Walter Mondale in 1984.
Johnson created the Fannie Mae Foundation where he served with distinction as its chairman and CEO from 1991 to 1998. In 1999, he became CEO of Fannie Mae.
As of 2006, Johnson is a vice chairman of the private banking firm Perseus LLC, a position he has held since 2001. He is also a member of the American Friends of Bilderberg, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the Trilateral Commission.
Johnson earned the Masters degree in Public Affairs from Princeton Universitys Woodrow Wilson School in 1968, and the Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota in 1965.
Obama has an extensive list of candidates to choose from between governors such as Arizona's Janet Napolitano, Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas and Tim Kaine of Virginia; foreign policy experts like former Georgia Sen. Sam Nunn, Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd or Delaware Sen. Joe Biden; or other senators such as Missouri's Claire McCaskill and Virginia's Jim Webb.
Obama has 1,965 delegates to Clinton's 1,780, with 2,026 required to secure the party's nomination under Democratic National Committee rules. _________________ Mobius

I believe they don't need to tell so soon who would be vice-president, people who would be usefull to both mccain and obama are now too preoccupied with problems that need to be solved...even though they might not be there to solved it on a long term basis.
A friend of mine told me few days ago that condo would be with mccain, its absurd since it would endanger mccain objectives to stay away from the lies of the white house. But at the same time, it could work...nixon once said that domestic problems don't need the white house to be resolved..so they could put two foreign relations tsars to tackle the two level of priority being BRIC to mccain and Iran-north korea for condo.
I resume my argument about it being workable and electable if mccain goes with condo, i doubt they would lose so much vote..she doesn't behave like cheney and she undoubtedly has more intelligence than bush.
I don't say that because of these present perspective, she wouldn't act like a lobbyist for the speculators, but she might not have to respond to these type of problems since mccain would give her mandate specifically based on the relationship with military socialism middle countries.
Maybe a regional security aggreement between iran and israel.. _________________ What is possible if you take into account the amount of cynism by the majority who vote? |

Post subject: they decide President Obama's VP at this meeting
Quote: | Hi, everyone
I found this article below.
James A. Johnson , a member of the American Friends of the Bilderberg, was asked to find Barrack Obama's VP canditdate, according to the Atlantic.com.
http://marcambinder.theatlantic.com/archives/2008/05/quietly_obama_begins_the_quest_1.php
This article writes:
Quote:
James A. Johnson, who vetted potential nominees for Sen. John Kerry in 2004, is playing a major role. He has advised Obama and the campaign about the architecture of the process, though it is not clear whether he will reprise his role as head of the search committee. Ex-Sen. Tom Daschle is also providing advice.
"As always, we don't have anything to say about it," said Dan Pfeiffer, Obama's deputy communications director.
Kerry began his three-month search process in March of 2004. Johnson and his team looked at scores potential candidates and vetted about a dozen of them, ultimately settling on Ex-Sen. John Edwards.
Johnson, a former CEO of Fannie Mae who is currently vice chairman of Perseus LLC, a merchant bank, also vetted vice presidential candidates for Walter Mondale, whose campaign he chaired. On the eve of the convention in 1984, Mr. Mondale was set to choose Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California, only to find irreconcilable political problems with the business dealings of Ms. Feinstein's husband, Richard Blum. Mondale chose Geraldine Ferraro instead. Ironically, questions about Ferraro's husband, a real estate developer, would dog her throughout the general election campaign. Mr. Johnson said later that the experience if 1984 had taught him to start much earlier and vet much more thoroughly.
This Johnson guy is also a director of Goldman Sachs and a member of the Trilateral Commission.
Everything fits!
They may have already decided that Obama be winner this time.
I think that John Edwards will be recycled as his running mate .
They dumped the House of Clinton ?

Lots of chatter on US Corporate Media and on talk radio about Johnson and Perseus LLC. Of course no mention of the forbidden B word. Nonetheless not the kind of publicity desired when Obama is being marketed as a neo-progressive. |

Jonson resigned from Obama VP selection committiee because of the WSJ article. WSJ support a Republican candidate.
And,Henry Kissinger,Henry Kravis and Geoge Shultz may support McCain as a next president.
I have thought that Bilderberger is not split, but maybe I was wrong.
They are vying for the predominance in the US politic and economy after the age of David Rockefeller.
I think that David Rockefeller is too old to rule all the bilderbergers.
If it were 15years ago, Rockefeller could hold together all the bilderbergers, but he is already 92 years old. We should think about this.
Other Obama VP searcher, Erick Holder is problematic, too. He pardoned Mark Rich during the Clinton Administration.
And Ted Kennedy was hospitalised ,so does Cathy Kennedy select a Obama VP? Impossible.
If Obama choose Senetor Clinton or Al Gore, he will win the race more easily.
But if he choose John Edwards,Jim webb,or James Jones(another bilderberger) and McCain choose Rice or Powell, Obama will have to fight hard to win the race.
If Rockefeller held the key, he persuaded Senator Clinton to withdraw earlier and made Obama as an another Jimmy Carter.
Anyway, something strange is happening now.
