A bit too close to home
There may be more to this 'suicide' as when you look into what this chap was in charge of at the time the story grows:
Michale Todd was in charge of investigating Extraordinary Rendition by the CIA on UK soil.
Two weeks prior to his death it was announced that the investigation into extraordinary rendition was about reveal its findings,
He was also tipped to step into Ian Blairs shoes
He was also fiercely blocking the promotion of one of his colleagues
Michael Todd seems like the kind of man that would want to do his job properly, the people he worked with seemed genuinely shocked by the news of his suicide.
This is really on a tangent but....
Steve Sinnotts' sudden but timely death, this guy got way to big for his boots and persisted to be a thorn in the governments side. His rallying cries to the NUT were nothing short of revolutionary and were about more then just increasing teachers pay... He really did not like the way 'education' was heading and he was getting quite a following...
