The year 2009 has taken a start, the year in which it was presumed that the Lisbon treaty would seek its ultimate goal of being rectified by the 27 member block of an enlarged European Union.Given the history, the constitutional treaty, the reform treaty, and the the Lisbon treaty-seems to have been jeopardized because of the horizontal and vertical polarization emerging in the EU's bodipolitik-suffering from the political conflicts resulted by the ideological forces of naturalism, nationalism, internationalism and transnationalism.
The latest no of the Irish people regarding the Lisbon treaty, already facing the feelings of euroscepticism of the British people, while the treaty being rejected by the French and Dutch people, the future of the Lisbon treaty yet seems to have been dwindling into uncertainty and confusion.
The fact remains that in the Lisbon treaty, no emphasis is given to the human rights, an important premise of the EU's community law.The European quest for a unified European constitution-a motive of the European globalism-seems very tough task. This can only be possible by giving or accommodating a liberal and multilateral doctrine of politicalal pluralism and by answering the questions posed by the respective goverments/people in terms of their domestic policies. _________________ rzy |
