The Mungiki movement with some 4 million followers, has accused the Freemasons of involvement in the disappearance of children and a mysterious string of murders that have recently rocked Nairobi.

The Roman Catholic church does ritual sacrifice.

I have met quite a few members of higher degrees up to the 33rd. As a group they are not particularly impressive characters. Such is the state of Masonry in many countries

The degree of Levite Sacrificer seems to have belonged to a rite that may not have functioned after 1820. I wonder if there is any copy of the ritual around. Deductions from the name alone may be misleading since Masonry is veiled in allegory.

Hi CoL

>without the catholic church and their hidden inner orders there would have been no knights templar in the first place.

Blavatsky tells us that the Jesuits infiltrated Masonry and instigated spurious degrees to keep Masons busy but useless.

As for the KT, arguably they predate the Roman church - under another names. For example, Baigent et al quote a source that not all Priory of Sion members are Jewish - indicating that the supposed parent body was not Christian http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Holy_Blood_and_the_Holy_Grail

> I also understand there are are quite a few degrees that have not been oficially practiced since the 1800's in the modern western world but what of the other back water countries where chaos and superstition remain rampant?

Many degrees were invented and a few emerged from family lodges in the 18th century in Europe. Almost all of those failed very quickly in the public domain. If any do survive they will be in the European families from which they emerged. For example Baigent et al refer to a Montgomery clan ritual.

>It will probably turn out that a lot of the stories from the Bible are enciphered RITUAL in the first place

I think you are putting a bit more value on the Bible than warranted. See for example Bible Fraud http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/biblianazar/esp_biblianazar_25.htm

The Bible is a composite that has been captured by various groups in different ages and modified to suit their political and religious agenda. Nevertheless there are valuable sections for those who have eyes to see.

Cheers

Just to be clear: when I point out that the Roman church conducts ritual sacrifice that is because offering of body and blood is explicit in the Mass - although in most branches of Catholicism only the priest consumes both the body (host) and the blood (wine).

In the early days of Christianity, the Agape (love feast) was a problem. It tended to take place in cemeteries consuming the body of the recently deceased while indulging in sexual orgies. (Modern descriptions of Agape are more restrained)

Perhaps some modern comparisons may be made of a "bride of Christ" (e.g. a nun) consuming the symbolic body of the dead saviour who presumably is not yet resurrected.
