What is the difference between a shallow earthquake and one that isn't? If an earthquake is shallow, does that mean we don't have to worry about it being destructive as an earthquake that happens very deep in the earth? We feel both earthquakes just as equally, right?

Earthquakes are like bombs - close (shallow) is not good
