'Machine gun nests and unprecedented security' for secretive Bilderberg meeting of captains of industry and government leaders

The Bilderberg Group, a collection of top captains of industry and western government leaders, is gathering for its annual meeting this weekend under unprecedented security.
Reports from the Mariott Westfields Hotel in Chantilly, Virginia, indicate security officials have set up machine gun nests and are deploying satellite surveillance and other sophisticated monitoring equipment to keep guests safe.
Conspiracy theorists say the closed-door, invitation-only gatherings of 150 of the most powerful people in North America and Western Europe are ground zero for the New World Order, the place where the influential collude to steer the course of human history.
Lock down: Guests are being kicked out and reservations to the public are being denied at the Mariott Westfields Hotel in Chantilly, Virginia
Posh: This hotel in suburban Washington, DC, is hosting the exclusive Bilderberg Group for the second time time year
This year, 1,000 people are signed for an 'Occupy Bilderberg' protest, which is spurring the extra-tight security, according to right-wing journalist and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
As Guardian columnist Charlie Skelton puts it, Bilderberg isn't about the 1 percent -- it's the 0.001 percent.

Among the attendees of recent meetings are: Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, World Bank president Robert Zoellick, European Commission head José Manuel Barroso, Queen Sofia of Spain and Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands.
The steering committee members include Marcus Agius, the chairman of Barclays; Mario Monte, the Italian Prime Minister; Craig Mundie, the Chief Research Officer for Microsoft; Peter Thiel, one of the venture capitalists behind Facebook; Kenneth Clarke, the British Secretary of Justice; and Jorma Ollila, the chairman of Royal Dutch Shell.
Protests: Security has always been tight for the secretive meeting. Last year it was held at the Suvretta hotel in St Moritz, Switzerland (pictured)
Captains of industry: Old money David Rockefeller, the patriarch of the famously wealthy family, and new money Peter Thiel, the billionaire Facebook investor and PayPal co-founder, are among the key figures in the Bilderberg Group
David Rockefeller is a key adviser.
Conspiracy theorists are floating the notion that members will 'anoint' Florida Sen Marco Rubio to become vice president on Mitt Romney's Republican ticket this year.
Bilderberg members say their meetings are simply gatherings of important people who come together to discuss the world's problems.
The Greek debt crisis and instability in the Eurozone are top considerations this year.
However, Mr Jones, a radio talk show host who runs a popular news website, reports that pressure from the occupy movement has organizers stepping up security.
Guests who had made reservations at the posh hotel in suburban Washington, DC, are being refunded and refused access.
One guest who was being kicked out of the hotel to make room for the Bilderberg conference claimed she saw machine gun nests being set up to guard against the protestors, Mr Jones claims.
He also claims that security officials are using sophisticated surveillance technology to tap the phones of protestors. Skelton, of the Guardian, says he witnessed hotel security staffers using iPhones to record anyone they saw in the hotel in the run-up to the conference. _________________ http://www.radio4all.net/index.php/contributor/2149

Noonan attends annual conference of Bilderberg group
PAUL CULLEN, Political Staff
US TRIP: FAR FROM celebrating the outcome of the fiscal treaty referendum at home, Minister for Finance Michael Noonan is in the US attending the annual conference of the secretive Bilderberg group.
Mr Noonan is one of 145 invited leaders and opinion formers taking part in the four-day get-together of the western world’s movers and shakers in Chantilly, Virginia.
Goldman Sachs chairman and former attorney general Peter Sutherland is also attending from Ireland, as is Paul Gallagher, another former attorney general.
This year’s conference is focused mainly on political, economic and societal issues, according to a press release from the group. Areas to be covered include “austerity and growth” in developed economies; transatlantic relations; the future of democracy; Russia; China; and the Middle East.
A spokesman for the Minister said the conferences were attended by some of the leading figures in the political and business worlds, so it was important for Ireland to be represented. “You’re better off in than out,” he said.
He added the Minister was working to promote a positive image of Ireland and would use the opportunity to advance Ireland’s case for investment, as well as represent the country’s position on the euro zone crisis.
The attendance at this year’s conference includes former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger, former UK chancellor Kenneth Clarke and EU commissioner Joaquín Almunia.
One-time world chess champion Garry Kasparov, who is now a politician in his native Russia, is also in attendance, along with Dutch prime minister Mark Rutte and US senator John Kerry.
Two-thirds of the participants are from Europe, with the balance coming from North America and elsewhere.
Over the years, many leading Irish politicians have attended Bilderberg conferences, including Garret FitzGerald, Charlie McCreevy and Michael McDowell.
Dr FitzGerald’s attendance at the conference in 1985 was the subject of heavy criticism by then Fianna Fáil leader Charles Haughey, who claimed it had links with Nato. Dr FitzGerald rejected the charge, accusing his political rival of paranoia.
Although the group issues a list of participants, meetings take place in private “in order to encourage frank and open discussion”.
No resolutions are proposed at Bilderberg meetings and no votes taken or policy statements issued

Prime minister and queen Beatrix at Bilderberg conference
Friday 01 June 2012
Queen Beatrix, prime minister Mark Rutte and D66 leader Alexander Pechtold are among the guests attending this year's Bilderberg conference in Chantilly, the US this weekend, the Volkskrant reports on Friday.
Bilderberg conferences are notorious for their supposedly secretive nature. While there are no votes and the atmosphere is informal, participants are not supposed to talk about discussions or other participants, the Volkskrant states.
The list of politicians, business leaders and others notables attending this year includes Google chief executive Eric Schmidt, Belgium's crown prince Philippe, Henry Kissinger and former chess champion Gary Kasparov, the paper says.
Questions
Marianne Thieme, leader of the pro-animal PvdD, has asked the prime minister to explain what he is doing at the conference.
Other MPs have posed similar questions. 'After all, the trip is paid for by the taxpayer,' Socialist MP Harry van Bommel told the paper.
Bilderberg takes its name from the hotel in Holland, where the first meeting took place in May 1954. Prince Bernhard was involved in setting up the meeting, which grew out of the concerns that Western Europe and North America were not working together as closely as they should.

If Thomas Mulcair was trying to convince anyone that his interests as NDP leader lie just as much outside Quebec as they do within it, he didn’t do a very good job of it.
A quick trip to Alberta, a fly-by of the oilsands, a brief chat with the local mayor and then on to more congenial activities. The premier, Alison Redford, must have sensed there wasn’t much to be gained from listening to Mr. Muclair explain how she’s short-changing the rest of Canada while acting as a “messenger” for Stephen Harper, and skipped the visit to take in a meeting in Virginia of the Bilderberg Group. Whatever they talk about at those Bilderberg meetings, it must have struck her as more pertinent to Alberta’s interests than whatever the leader of the federal opposition was selling.
Her decision is worth pondering. A couple of weeks ago Mr. Mulcair lumped all the western premiers into one big group of political flunkies, mindlessly parroting the energy policies of the federal government. The blowback his words produced was enough for him to agree to Thursday’s tour. If Ms. Redford had sensed there was a degree of sincerity in his assurances that he wanted to see the oilsands for himself, surely she would have stayed. But she didn’t. Mr. Mulcair, she must have figured, just didn’t mean it.
And he didn’t do much to dispel that impression. The NDP leader’s effort to gain a first-hand understanding of the energy business consisted of a 90-minute helicopter ride over the vast area of the oilsands, much as former U.S. president George Bush got his first-hand look at Louisiana’s Katrina flood by looking out the window of Air Force One. Mr. Mulcair put down for a meeting with a Suncor executive and a friendly “kitchen-table” session with the local mayor before heading back to Edmonton, where Deputy premier Thomas Lukaszuk, standing in for the premier, spent just 15 minutes with him, part of which he used to hand over reports and pamphlets on Alberta’s “clean energy story”.
Mr. Mulcair said the session was “very cordial,” but Mr. Lukaszuk seemed less impressed, suggesting the NDP leader arrived with “well-developed ideas” and “preconceived notions.”
“There is an old style of politics in Canada, which we haven’t seen for awhile, but has obviously re-emerged, of pitting one part of the country against another for political expedience,” added Lukaszuk. “And that is not what we as Alberta are going to do,” he said.
Almost no one — from the deputy premier to the pilot who took Mulcair and his retinue on their helicopter ride — thought he’d changed his mind about anything. The most generous assessment came from Mayor Melissa Blake of Wood Buffalo, who spent a half-hour with Mr. Mulcair and conceded he has “some valid points.”
“His passion is deep for the advances he’s trying to make in environmental legislation,”she noted.
“The Dutch Disease, I put the question on the table and he indicated it was good practice for what he’d face later. But ultimately, he went into why he sees it the way he does,” she said. “I have disagreements in terms of the extent of the involvement that industry here locally has in terms of the dollar depreciation impact that happens in the manufacturing sector. But he has some valid points as well.”
Ah yes, the Dutch Disease. Mr. Mulcair is very big on the Dutch Disease, which holds that manufacturing in Ontario and Quebec has been hurt by the strong Canadian currency, and that foreign money pouring into the energy business is to blame. His remedy would be to weaken the dollar by slowing development and making oil companies pay more of the environmental costs. That might hurt Alberta a bit and cost some jobs, but would sure be popular back east. Which is where the NDP has most of its seats.
He has a surprising ally in Peter Lougheed, the former premier and original champion of oilsands development. Mr. Lougheed has similarly urged greater control over oilsands growth in order to get a handle on the costs.
“The oilsands have created in our province, because of the rapid growth that has occurred in the past decade, a very high-cost economy,” Mr. Lougheed said at a 2009 conference.
“We, essentially, should have one mining project at a time — the in situ is a different situation — and what the past policy of the Alberta government has been is to have a number of projects going on concurrently. What I’ve been suggesting … is there should be one project done and completed before the next project starts.”
More recently Mr. Lougheed said he opposed the Keystone XL pipeline project in the U.S., not because of environmental concerns but because he thinks the bitumen should be refined in Alberta. The NDP also supports refining in Canada, though once again it would prefer taking the jobs back east.
So the NDP leader’s ideas can’t be dismissed as altogether flakey, even if the economics of refining make that notion highly contentious. “It seems like his interests are not necessarily out of alignment with what most Canadians would be interested in – a healthy, sustainable environment,” said Mayor Blake.
Canadians, Mr. Mulcair argued, “need a national conversation about how we develop our country’s natural resources.” Which, funnily enough, is the same point Ms. Redford has been trying to make. Despite that convergence, you get the impression there’s still a firm East/West divide frustrating any hope of imminent progress. Ontario’s Premier Dalton McGuinty recently told Ms. Redford he’d take a cheap dollar over a growing oil-and-gas sector any time. And Mr. Mulcair plainly ended his

Why Does The Mainstream Media Ignore The Bilderberg Group?
Over the next several days, more than a hundred of the most powerful people on the planet will attend a secret conference at a hotel in Chantilly, Virgina. Some of the biggest names in politics and business will be there.
The hotel is going to be completely locked down and will be swarmed by hordes of security guards carrying machine guns. This conference is so important that even the U.S. Secret Service is rumored to be involved in providing security.
These meetings have been held yearly since 1954, but no record of what goes on at them has ever been officially released to the public and all the attendees are sworn to secrecy. Decisions made at this conference will affect the lives of every man, woman and child on the planet.
But the vast majority of Americans will have no idea that the Bilderberg Group is meeting about 20 miles from Washington D.C. this year because the mainstream media in the United States ignores the Bilderberg Group almost entirely year after year.
Based on the coverage it gets from the U.S. media, you would think that the Bilderberg Group was a non-event. But if some of the most powerful people on the planet are getting together to discuss our future, don’t you think the mainstream media should be covering it?
The Bilderberg Group is much more than just a social club. It has played a major role in shaping the direction of the world since it was created in 1954. The Bilderberg Group helped create the European Union and it helped create the euro. This year efforts to save the euro are rumored to be high on the agenda.
And considering the big names that show up at this conference on a yearly basis you would think that the U.S. media would be extremely interested in it. The following is just a sampling of the big names that have attended Bilderberg in recent years….
Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Prince Charles, David Cameron, Tony Blair, Henry Kissinger, Bill Gates, Angela Merkel, Ben Bernanke, Timothy Geithner, Rick Perry, David Rockefeller, Herman van Rompuy, Jean-Claude Trichet, Jeff Bezos, Chris R. Hughes, Eric Schmidt, Craig J. Mundie, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Richard Perle, Paul Volcker, Lawrence Summers, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden
Isn’t that enough star power to get the attention of the mainstream media?
A complete list of the “official attendees” of the Bilderberg Group from last year can be found right here.
You would think that this would be big news.
But apparently there is so much else going on in the world that there isn’t any room to cover the Bilderberg Group.
For example, right now on USA Today you can find the following headlines on the front page….
-Trilogies spring up on reading lists
-Spelling still matters in era of texting, spell check
-Many chain stores now add a toy aisle for adults
Perhaps other news sources are discussing more important news.
Then again, perhaps not.
On the front page of CNN, you can currently find the following headlines….
-Airline seat squeeze: It’s not just you
-Group: Prove Romney’s not a unicorn
-Scientists confirm ‘old person smell’
No wonder CNN is experiencing record low television ratings.
The mainstream media may be ignoring Bilderberg, but based on the level of security around the hotel you would be tempted to think that it was the most important event in the United States this year.
A recent article by Paul Joseph Watson discussed some of the extraordinary security measures that are being implemented to protect this conference….
Undercover Fairfax police, secret service, hotel security, as well as diplomatic service personnel are all now rushing to finalize preparations for the arrival of Bilderberg members tomorrow morning.
According to London Guardian journalist Charlie Skelton, conference organizers were also using iPhones to film guests who had arrived for brunch. Regular guests as well as journalists are also having background checks run against their names.
Alex Jones also heard discussions between members of Bilderberg security about how sophisticated surveillance equipment using satellites was being used to tap phones of prominent activists and media personalities set to cover the event.
So why doesn’t the mainstream media want to cover this?
In the past, a number of top politicians (including future U.S. presidents) have attended Bilderberg prior to getting elected to very important positions. A recent WorldNetDaily article detailed a few examples of this phenomenon….
George H.W. Bush attended in 1985. He became president in 1988. Bill Clinton attended in 1991. He became president a year later. Tony Blair attended in 1993. He became prime minister of England in 1997. Romano Prodi attended in 1999. Later that year he became president of the European Union Commission. In 2004, Sen. John Edwards spoke to the group. He was later anointed the Democratic vice presidential nominee by presidential candidate John Kerry.
It is even rumored that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton held a secret meeting at Bilderberg back in 2008.
Amazingly, there are indications that Barack Obama may have held a little “pre-Bilderberg meeting” again this year. According to the Economic Policy Journal, Obama snuck away from reporters on Saturday for some mysterious reason….
Of note, President Obama disappeared this weekend.. Reporters were miffed. Was it a pre-Bilderberg meeting for the Prez?
On Saturday, West Wing Report had these odd tweets:
President arrived 1:10 ET at Andrews golf course. Playing today with regulars Marvin Nicholson; Walt Nicholson & Pete Selfridge
—
President back at White House. In a breach of longtanding policy, his motorcade departed without hooking up with the waiting press vans.
—
Pool does not know first hand when the president left Andrews, what route he took, or when he arrived at White House
—
Press pool always accompanies the president wherever he goes. Decades-long tradition violated again.
Remember, if the President meets someone outside the White House, it isn’t logged in on WH records amd there is no record if the press aren’t there to record it.
So where did Obama go during that missing time and why did he ditch the press?
They will probably never tell us.
The truth is that the mainstream media is the biggest “gatekeeper” of all.
They decide what is important and what is not important.
They decide what is going to be in “the news” and what the American people are going to be talking about.
They choose to totally ignore the Bilderberg Group and so most Americans will not even hear about it this year.
And that is really sad. The truth is that those that attend Bilderberg have big plans for all of us.
David Rockefeller, a regular attendee at Bilderberg meetings, wrote the following in a 2003 book entitled “Memoirs”….
“Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure – one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like the fact that a bunch of elitists are holding secret conferences where they discuss how to build a “more integrated global political and economic structure”.
The future of America should be in the hands of the American people – not in the hands of secretive global elitists that desire to shape the world in their own image.
Please share this information and other articles you can find about the Bilderberg Group with as many people as you can. The mainstream media is not doing their job, so it is up to all of us to get the truth out.

What Bilderberg Secrets? Just Ask… .
Monday, 04 June 2012 11:00 JB Williams
Not much really needs to be said in this particular column. For decades, Americans have been speculating about what takes place behind the closed doors of the secret meetings of the Bilderberg Group. This weekend, the group is holding its annual meeting at a Virginia Marriott Hotel. Forty-eight American citizens are named by the group as attending that meeting.
At the close of this weekend’s Virginia gathering of the global elite, all forty-eight U.S. attendees will know exactly what was discussed behind those closed doors and since those discussions directly impact the governance of the United States of America, the American people have every right to know what took place in those meetings.
In fact, the Freedom of Information Act covers the people’s right to know all information affecting their governmental policies and ultimately, every American citizen. If the American people really want to know what is taking place in those secret meetings, they need only ask.
While I’m sure there are attendees who are not listed on the Bilderberg Group official press release, here are the forty-eight American’s who are listed as attendees of this weekend’s event.·

I have provided a research link for each of these individuals so that you can know who they are, what role they play in American society, why they were invited to participate in the Bilderberg meetings and how to contact them.
These attendees are the who’s who of American government and industry. These are the people who shape public policy in America and make decision about America’s future, even though no one elected or authorized them to do so.
If they are officials from our government, they are under the Freedom of Information Act as they are not attending these meetings in any unofficial capacity. If they are citizens, they may be in direct violation of the Logan Act.
American’s who want to know what kind of future they are planning for America can and should begin to demand answers from the forty-eight Americans attending this weekend’s conference. To name just a few basic questions…
Are National Security Secrets being shared in these global meetings?
Are the people in this meeting representing America’s interests or world interests?
Are all social network databases shared with this global group?
What gives them the authority to make decisions for the United States?
You can file your own Freedom of Information form demanding answers. Millions of Americans should contact these individuals requesting full information concerning the Virginia meeting and previous meetings as well.
An FOIA form can also be filed with each attendee demanding full disclosure of the meetings content.
If the American people fail to ask these people the right questions, they cannot expect to ever get the right answers and they will be forced to continue speculating.
The forty-eight people listed above are attending the Bilderberg meeting and at the close of the weekend event, they will know what took place behind those closed doors. The people have a right to know. Shame on them if they don’t even bother to ask!

KELLY: Bilderberg, Coffee klatsch or conspiracy?
Grand Junction Free Press
The annual Bilderberg Group meeting ended last week in Chantilly, Va., marked by the largest protests since the meetings were first held in 1954. The protests were led by independent radio/web journalist Alex Jones, often accused of wild conspiracy mongering by the same mainstream media (MSM) organs that have never covered, or even mentioned, the Bilderberg confabs once in 58 years.
[......]certainly a curiosity, considering that 140 of the world's most powerful movers and shakers convene to do more than play bridge and frolic in the pool, presumably. If there is a conspiracy involved, it seems to be a conspiracy of silence among the MSM to pretend Bilderberg doesn't even exist.
A general rule about conspiracy theories: They flourish when governments and powerful organizations operate in secrecy, breeding speculation in the absence of any public record of what is really going on. Sometimes that speculation is merely paranoid, and sometimes it's closer to the mark. The cure for paranoid conspiracy theories is the disinfectant of sunlight: Open the books, declassify the files (an estimated 50,000 JFK assassination files are still classified), and at least issue some kind of official report or accounting.
The more suspicious perspective on Bilderberg suggests that it, along with other secretive clubs like the Council on Foreign Relations, Trilateral Commission, and Royal Institute of International Affairs, is trying to engineer a world government. Whether you believe that could be a good thing, or would be evil incarnate, determines whether you define Bilderberg as a conference or a conspiracy.
The European Union was conceived and nurtured into being largely in Bilderberg meetings and the E.U. is supposedly the foundation for other political consolidations that will overcome old patriotisms and animosities to form some kind of global union beyond the U.N. So far, it doesn't seem to be working very well — the whole E.U. looks ready to implode soon.
The era of market globalization has already led to a diminution of national sovereignty as multinational corporations enforced trade regulations that ran roughshod over national labor, environmental and tariff laws, spurring protests like the 1999 Battle of Seattle against the WTO. If a democratically governed people chooses to prohibit GM (genetically modified) crops in their land, that decision should stand without Monsanto and allies dictating otherwise.
Globalization and multinational corporations have given rise to a new “superclass” of billionaires whose main allegiance is to their network of political and business allies over their country of origin (see David Rothkopf's excellent book, “Superclass: The Global Power Elite and the World They Are Making”). Rothkopf concludes: “That doesn't mean we need a world government. What it means is that we need multilateral institutions and mechanisms to ensure that the minimum basic protections we expect in our national homes are not undercut while the world's most powerful pursue their narrow self-interests in the no-country's land of the global marketplace.”
And then we have Carroll Quigley, a former Georgetown University professor and Bill Clinton's “mentor” stating in his suppressed 1966 book “Tragedy and Hope”: “... the powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences.”
That could certainly be construed as a conspiracy of sorts. The Bilderberg conference does release a list of attendees, notable for a preponderance of bankers. This year's list includes some notorious characters: Robert Rubin, former Treasury Secretary under Clinton and architect of financial deregulation that led to the current crisis; Peter Orszag, Obama's former OMB director and chief consultant to the Central Bank of Iceland before it went bankrupt; William Lynn, former Deputy Secretary of Defense under Bush when the Pentagon “lost” $2.3 trillion; Anatoly Chubais, privatization czar under Boris Yeltsin who oversaw a $240 billion rape of Russia; several Goldman-Sachs executives from around the world; and last but not least, Richard Perle, “Prince of Darkness” and principle driver of the Iraq invasion; and the guest of honor, war criminal Henry Kissinger (see Christopher Hitchen's “The Trial of Henry Kissinger”).
A strong case could be made that an Interpol SWAT team should have descended on the Marriott hotel in Chantilly and arrested a lot of these people. The bottom line is that while most of the world is now reeling under chronic depression, unemployment, austerity and riots, this superclass of “feudalist” capitalism is growing ever richer and more powerful.
The Marriott hotel staff complained to Alex Jones and others that, despite the fabulous wealth of the attendees, they tipped abysmally or not at all. Perhaps more than any expansive screed, that speaks volumes about the Bilderberg crowd.
Some may say that I'm simply bitter because I wasn't invited to the big pow-wow. OK, it's true, dammit, because I was really looking forward to the “Eyes Wide Shut” orgy with all those hot Illuminati babes!

Travis, a bit more attention to the problem and less to the orgy of 'eyes wide shut' should normally help you conclude that 1+1=2.
Normally.

Be Afraid Be Very Afraid
By Bill Glassberg
Finally, thanks to the Internet, alternative media and legitimate news sources like the The Guardian Express, more and more people are becoming aware of the sinister Bilderberg Group.
In short, the BB Group is a consortium of financial, political, industrial, energy and media heavyweights from around the world who meet annually in secret and behind closed doors to further their agenda of crentralized, global power. The group works closely with other organizations, think tanks and agencies like the Council on Foreign Relations, CIA, World Bank, NSA, Federal Reserve, Tri-Lateral Commission and many others.
The Bilderberg Group was the brainchild of well-known communist Joseph Retinger, who enlisted the help of his good friend Prince Bernard of the Netherlands. On the American side, C.D. Jackson and then Director of CIA General Walter Bedell Smith helped to organize. Many of the world’s richest and most powerful were in full support of the idea because of its informality, secrecy and lack of media scrutiny. They could sit back, relax and throw ideas back and forth on ways to retain, expand and consolidate their enormous power and wealth. Because many of the members were already high-level officials, CEOs, Heads of State, royalty, etc., the ideas spawned at their conferences could be implemented and overseen by the members in their “official” capacities. As Bilderberg attendee Giovanni Agnelli, head of Fiat Motors said, “European integration is our goal and where the politicians have failed, we industrialists hope to succeed.” This goal, of course, was reached as we have in fact witnessed the formation of the E.U., a major step towards global domination and the destruction of sovereign, independent nations.
Later, in 2009, Bilderberg chairman Etienne Davignon bragged that the euro was actually an idea for a single European currency hatched at a BB meeting.
The group’s first meeting was held in Oosterbeck, Holland, at the Hotel de Bilderberg (hence the name) in May 1954. Not surprisingly, Henry Kissinger served on the governing council.
For decades now, anyone who even mentioned the BB’s goal of global central power and world government were typically labeled “conspiracy nuts” by the corporate press and media who denied the very existence of the group. A good reason for this can be explained by an American traitor who has attended every BB meeting since 1953. David Rockefellar, at a BB meeting in 1991 (also in attendance was Governor Bill Clinton and Dan Quale), said, “We are grateful to The Washington Post, The N.Y. Times, Time Magazine and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years. It would not have been possible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years. But the world is more sophisticated now and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world banker is surely preferable to the national auto determination of past centuries.”
As I was writing this, the BB Group met at the Westfield Marriott Hotel in Chantilly, Virginia. The Marriott was courteous enough to throw all of their guests out two days prior to our global overlords’ arrival. You might think that because it is a crime for U.S. citizens and representatives to confer with foreign governments against the interests of the United States or negotiate on behalf of the U.S. without authorization, according to the Logan Act (18 U.S.C.A. 953), the police and federal agents would arrest those breaking the law and betraying America. Unfortunately, this is not the case. So far, three of the hundreds of protestors outside the Marriott have been arrested by the Chantilly Police Department. Why? Getting too close to the BB’s limos!
