In the US, Richard "Prince of Darkness" Perle, who in 2014 claimed the only reason the US invaded Iraq was to prevent Saddam Hussein from proliferating weapons of mass destruction

In the UK, John Kerr who is highlighted in this 2014 Guardian article http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/jun/02/bilderberg-2014-george-osborne-john-kerr is out. In his place is John Sawers a recent Bilderberg participant and now Chairman of Macro Advisory Partners after running MI6 for 5 years.

A reminder of the Masonic connections to Bilderberg - particularly through Bilderberg founder Josef Retinger who was a Polish Mason and Organiser of the 1998 Bilderberg conference who was the Personal Assistant to the Duke of Kent Grand Master of UGLE. No doubt many others have been through the Masonic rites which should preclude them from public office...

How secret group Freemasons has kept grip on Britain for 200 years
http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/how-secret-group-freemasons-kept-6886802
Daily Mirror - 17:59, 23 NOV 2015 UPDATED 18:25, 23 NOV 2015 BY RICHARD SMITH
The names of royalty, statesmen, judges, military top brass, bishops and police have been found in a secret archive
The huge influence Freemasons had in ruling British society for almost 200 years has finally been revealed.
The names of royalty, statesmen, judges, military top brass, bishops and police have been found in a secret archive which lists two million Freemasons.
The masonic records - from 1733 to 1923 - are set to be made available to the public for the first time.
They show Kings Edward VII, Edward VIII and George VI were all Freemasons.
Military leaders the Duke of Wellington and Lord Kitchener were also members of the clandestine group founded by a group of men in a London coffee house in 1717.
Britain’s wartime Premier Sir Winston Churchill was also a Freemason along with literary greats Rudyard Kipling, Oscar Wilde and Sherlock Holmes creator Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Others include music legends Gilbert and Sullivan, explorers Ernest Shackleton and Captain Robert Scott, England cricket captain Douglas Jardine and scientist Sir Alexander Fleming who discovered penicillin.
More than 5,500 police officers, thousands of military figures, 170 judges, 169 MPs, 16 bishops and an Indian prince are listed in the Freemasons archive to be made public by family history website Ancestry.
Businessman Harry Selfridge is named in the archive along with social reformer Thomas Barnardo, famous bridge builder Thomas Telford and thousands of engineers who made Britain a world industrial power.
The extent to which Freemasons wielded power over the British Empire may lead to a re-examination of two centuries of our history.
The all-male group was originally formed to enable “men of integrity” to get together while avoiding issues of religion and politics.
They adopted the compass, square and apron used in stonemasonry as symbols for the group.
Publication of the archive comes after initiatives by the Freemasons in recent decades to make the organisation more open.
There are believed to be six million Freemasons in the world today - including two million in the United States.
Ancestry’s senior UK content manager Miriam Silverman said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer people an online window into a relatively unknown organisation.”.....

de Castries moves from AXA to perhaps HSBC
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2016/03/21/axa-chief-executive-quits-after-16-years/
Axa chief executive quits after 16 years
Sponsored by HSBC (! You couldn't make it up)
Marion Dakers, financial services editor 21 MARCH 2016 • 2:28PM
Henri de Castries is stepping down as chairman and chief executive of Axa after 16 years in charge of the French insurance institution.
De Castries, a well-connected member of French society who also chairs the Bilderberg Group of business leaders, will leave the firm in September.
The insurer will now split its most senior roles, with the chief executive post at the €52bn firm going to Thomas Buberl, who joined from rival insurer Zurich in 2012. Denis Duverne, who is currently deputy chief executive, will become non-executive chairman.
While the departure was not expected, Mr de Castries said preparations for his retirement had been several years in the making.
“The succession planning process initiated by the board upon my request in October 2013, confirmed the breadth and the quality of Axa’s teams and helped us identify a new generation of leaders,” said Mr de Castries. "Denis and I are extremely proud of the team we have been able to build and develop."
Mr de Castries joined Axa in 1989 after studying at the Ecole Nationale d’Administration alongside François Hollande and Ségolène Royal and spending several years in the French civil service. He took over from Claude Bebear as chief executive in 2000.
His name has been linked to the chairmanship of HSBC. Douglas Flint has signalled that he will step down within the next two years. De Castries has been on the board of the UK bank since the start of March.
Axa has pulled back from the British life insurance market in recent years but still runs a sizeable general insurance business. The group hired Barclays last year to explore selling more of its UK operations including its wealth manager.
The group has also pushed into numerous emerging markets across Africa, Latin America and Asia, and last year vowed to sell out of its fossil fuel investments as part of an effort to address the impact of climate change.
The departure of Mr de Castries is the latest in a growing line of exits from the top jobs of insurance companies. Old Mutual, Prudential, Admiral and Zurich are among the firms to have hired new bosses within the last year.
Analysis: Could HSBC pick de Castries as its next chairman?
While both boardrooms have been working on these moves for many months, the news that Henri de Castries would be leaving Axa has come just days after HSBC kicked off the search for a new chairman to replace Douglas Flint.
De Castries only joined the HSBC board at the start of March, but already shares HSBC’s priorities, having built up Axa in emerging markets such as Latin America while rowing back from European growth that proved elusive.
His keen interest in Asian business would also be a mark in his favour with the Anglo-Asian bank's nominations committee. Axa has expanded rapidly into China’s nascent insurance market and he also sits on the advisory board of Tsinghua University’s business school.
"He is in a learning phase now and could step up next year,” one HSBC shareholder told Reuters.
HSBC’S recruitment process is being overseen by Sam Laidlaw, the ex-boss of Centrica, and Rachel Lomax, formerly of the Bank of England. Mr Flint wrote to investors last week to say he would stay on until his successor was appointed, mostly likely in 2017.
The bank is keen to hire from outside its usual pool of HSBC veterans for the chairman’s post. Other candidates in the running include Paul Walsh, the former Diageo boss who joined the board at the same time as de Castries.
HSBC, while it has decided to keep its headquarters in the UK after years of wrangling with a move to Hong Kong, also has one eye on the forthcoming EU referendum. It is hatching plans to shift around 1,000 jobs to the French capital if Britain does vote to leave, in which case having a Parisian chairing the board could prove useful.
However, de Castries has tried to dampen the speculation that he was the man for the job, telling journalists that "I haven't taken part in a single board meeting at HSBC yet, I will do that next month...I'm a board member. I'm proud of it, that's it". _________________ http://www.radio4all.net/index.php/contributor/2149

Google has the ability to decide elections
April 11, 2016 Signal Contributor National, Opinions 0
http://www.tcnjsignal.net/2016/04/11/google-has-the-ability-to-decide-elections/
By Gerard Freda
In August 2015, notable social psychologist Robert Epstein published three studies highlighting the search engine manipulation effect (SEME) in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). The series of studies examined how search engines can manipulate voters. In one study, Epstein and his team showed participants’ biased search results. They found that 99.5 percent of people were unaware that the search results that they were shown were altered. These results were based off of the 2014 election of the Lok Sabha, the lower-house of the Indian Parliament.
Based on these results, Epstein used the “vote manipulation power” (VMP), a measurement that reflects the extent to which alterations in search engine results influence voting behavior, to show how much search engines can manipulate voters. The results showed that the SEME could increase a person’s likelihood to vote for a candidate by 13 percent for people who are not familiar with the candidates. Even people who were familiar with the candidates showed a 10 percent VMP. The research also distinguished people labeled as “Internet-fluent,” people who are well-versed in how to use the Internet, and showed that 91.4 percent of this group displayed no awareness of search engine manipulation. The studies showed across the board that most people were unaware of the presence of biased search engine results.
These results only matter if you happen to have a passing interest in democracy. The research on SEME concluded that, if spread out across a population, the SEME could shift undecided voters by 25 percent or more for or against a candidate. The study conservatively estimated that the SEME could account for a shift in 2 percent of the total popular vote for a given election. According to the 2012 exit polls, roughly 10 percent of U.S. voters were undecided up until the final days of the election.
Does Google have the ability to implement the SEME? Globally, with over 5 billion searches a day and almost 2 trillion a year, according to statisticbrain.com, a statistic gathering website, Google is the world’s largest search engine, according to Net Marketshare, an Internet data collecting Website. With its Analytics, Maps, Adsense and YouTube, Google has the ability to provide the world with a treasure trove of data. In fact, in capitalistic fashion, its ability to serve the world was evident when the company surpassed Apple as the most valuable company in the world, according to a CNBC article from Tuesday, Feb. 2.
As a society, we are so dependent on Google that it has become second nature to our technologically-aided development of thought. Our dependence is not learned through human language, but from computer language.
If we know something, we don’t Google it. If we don’t know it, we Google it. It has become habitual. We all do little things without knowing all the time. Micro-actions like this can be harmless, but when applied to a search engine and aggregated together, they form a social dependence and leave the door wide open to search engine manipulation. This combination has toxic potential, especially when Google has a covert political agenda.
During the 2012 election, search engine manipulation was used on a very basic level. The Obama campaign used a tool called “Optimizer,” which matched targeted voters to data about what television programs those voters tended to watch. The Obama campaign could then buy advertising time during programs on smaller cable channels such as TV Land, whose advertising rates were cheaper according to a New York Times article from Nov. 12, 2012.
What is even odder is that one day after the biggest primary election-day of this year — Tuesday, March 1, also known as Super Tuesday — when 13 states voted in the Republican primary, Google’s Chairman Eric Schmidt, a self-admitting politically-partisan man, was hired by the Pentagon as the head of the Defense Innovation Advisory Board. This was done in common private-sector public-sector revolving door fashion according to a CNN Money article from Wednesday, March 2. Only this time, the politically-partisan chairman of the most powerful and wealthiest corporation in the world is on both sides of the door at the same time, armed with the empirically-proven ability to manipulate an election.
As musican Bob Dylan said, “the times they are a changin.” No democracy is ever a perfect reflection of the people’s preferences, as Kenneth Arrow has proven with his Impossibility Theorem.
Democracy and elections are always going to be manipulated to fit the self interests of the times. Regardless of the extent of corporate influence, power, potential, freedom or whatever positive or negative word you may call it, for the first time in humanity, an entity, such as a political campaign, has the power through the SEME to directly affect the outcome of an election by “tailoring your search results to your needs.” As Epstein concluded, “unregulated election-related search rankings could pose a significant threat to the democratic system of government.” For the first time in the electoral history of the United States, an entity, Google, has found the Golden Ticket to U.S. elections. _________________ http://www.radio4all.net/index.php/contributor/2149
