Also Microsoft's Craig Mundie is a new Steering Committee member. Now there are two cybergurus on the Committee, which says a lot about the importance of cybersurveillance/Total Information Awareness and cybersecurity to the elites. As an aside, Mundie (and Microsoft) are members of Strategic News Service, whose principal Mark Anderson is a close friend of a personal colleague.

Marie-Josee Kravis testified against Con(vict)rad Black in Court:
http://www.blacksjustice.com/my_weblog/2007/04/mariejosee_krav.html
Black slams her in his new book.
Economist Marie-Josée Kravis went from Catholic girls school in Quebec to the penthouses of New York City and onto the board of Hollinger International, there to betray Black from the witness box in Chicago. And that favour, rest assured, is returned with interest.
“I had watched as Marie-Josée left the Bilderberg conference I invited her to … when she got into a taxi with Henry Kravis, whose acquaintance she had recently made. She was wearing a short pink mini suit to start, I surmised, a new life. … The wanton climber is morally clothed with some rules of the road. Once arrived at her destination, in that one sense, Marie-Josée was naked…” In short, she’s more or less a woman who exploits her feminine wiles, sans a heart of gold. One suspects Conrad’s not getting back on that particular Christmas list any time soon.

Nor will Black ever make an appearance at Bilderberg again. |

As we've seen with the Obama administration, rather than running things from behind the scenes in Italy Bilderberg has brazenly installed Steering Committee member super Mario Monti after catapaulting Berlusconi. Berlusconi's rift with Bilderberg and eventual demise was predicted by American Free Press back in February.
http://www.americanfreepress.net/html/bilderberg_hit_257.html
Bilderberg has also added a new USA Steering Committee member, Ken Jacobs of Rothschild/Rockefeller/Meyer ibank Lazard Freres. Jacobs like Peter Thiel is a Stanford Business School grad, and carries on the tradition of NYC debt restructurer/French ambassador/Lehman Bros/Rothschild man Felix Rohatyn.
Regarding the 2012 US presidential election, it's all too clear that the Bilderberg-sanctioned candidates are Bilderberger Rick Perry, Bain/London School of Economics Mitt Romney, and Rockefeller CFR man Gingrich. Herman Cain, though a former Federal Reserve officer, is an outsider and is being taken out by the same phony Chicago sex scandal apparatus that put Obama in place for his ascendancy. Of course Ron Paul is Bilderberg enemy #1. Bilderberg mouthpiece Charlie Rose has never and will never have Paul or any of his ilk for a chat at his table.
It's almost certain that Bilderberg 2012 will return to the USA, but with so much exposure and the Occupy movement, it seems unlikely the venue will be a return to Chantilly or some other approachable mainland setting. Seems an island or remote setting away from the peering eyes of the awakened masses would be preferable to the oligarchs. We'll see. |

The Steering Committee has a new British member: Marcus Agius, CEO of Barclays and former chairman of the London branch of Lazard Freres which fellow Steering Committee member Ken Jacobs runs. Agius' wife Katherine is a daughter of the late Edmund de Rothchild.
Cast your eyes on this list of the world's most powerful (control-holding) corporations and you'll see Barclays at the top along with AXA, JP Morgan Chase, Deutschebank, and other Bilderberg-led concerns. See page 33 of

Hollande is a policy wonk with degrees from two top schools for the French elite, the Ecole Nationale d’Administration and the political studies institute known as Sciences Po, where he has taught economics and budget policy. “Hollande has the brain of an economist,” says Laurent Dubois, a Sciences Po colleague. “Mitterrand was more into Balzac.”
While rising through the ranks to become the party’s head from 1997 to 2008, Hollande maintained a wide network of business and financial contacts. Before attending ENA and Sciences Po, he graduated from HEC, the business school where his classmates included Henri de Castries, now chief executive officer of insurance group AXA. Hollande belongs to a group that brings together entrepreneurs and members of Parliament for regular lunch meetings.

de Castries donated 7500 Euro to Hollande's campaign last October.

As expected Bilderberg has its paws all over US presidential candidate MittRomney. Marty Feldstein, Marie-Josee Kravis, John Thain, Robert Zoellick, etc. are his "advisors"
http://finance.fortune.cnn.com/2012/08/15/romney-economy-plan/
On another note, I learned that the man who "runs the country" attended the Bohemian Club here in Northern California with his son (that is, David Rockefeller and son) last year but this year 2012 he's in a wheelchair and couldn't make it. |

Opposition has emerged against a proactive central bank that has been forced to widen its range of policy tools in a zero interest rate environment.
Romney advisor Martin Feldstein, also attending the Jackson Hole event, suggested a more Fed-friendly tone could yet reemerge from Republican side. Feldstein, a Harvard professor who would likely be on Romney's short-list to replace Bernanke at the Fed, downplayed the Republican push to strip the Fed of its dual mandate.
"I don't think that is a realistic idea," he said, noting that even central banks with single mandates have to pay close attention to growth and employment. "I don't think the dual mandate has handicapped them in their focus on keeping inflation down."
