While the hunt for the exact 2007 Bilderberg venue presses on (Istanbul at end of May at this point), how about some posts highlighting Bilderberg's public facade. To my knowledge, nowhere on Tony's site is Friends of Europe (www.friendsofeurope.org) covered. A pro-EU site, the brainchild of Etienne Dauvignon and other cognoscenti.

For dialogues with Bilderbergers, check out the Charlie Rose show (www.charlierose.com) and its video downloads. Recent dialogues include Jessica Mathews and Henry Kissinger. Last spring 2006, Charlie did a special segment with David Rockefeller celebrating the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Asian Society. In this segment, Rockefeller says that he tried to convince the European Bilderbergers to include Japan in Bilderberg, but the Europeans said that no, Bilderberg was between Europe and North America. So Rockefeller founded the Trilateral Commission. Also Rockefeller noted that Charlie has attended Bilderberg. Charlied attended the recent 2007 Trilateral Commission meeting in Brussels.

Jim Tucker has just announced in American Free Press - viewable to on-line subscribers only at this time - that the venue for Bilderberg 2007 will almost certainly be at the Klassis Hotel in Silivri, 40 miles west of Istanbul on the Marmara Sea. Perfect location - can be easily guarded and a golf course. Jim's article will surely be posted on the AFP website shortly. Jim writes that he's still not 100% certain.

Soon-to-be ex-World Bank president Bilderberger Paul Wolfowitz, whose replacement nominee by Bush is Bilderberger Robert Zoelick, concurs with Charlie Rose that he is off to Europe in this interview that aired Tuesday May 29. Wolfowitz argues for reducing barriers to agricultural imports from the poorest African nations to the US and EU.
