JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Tony Blair began his first visit to the Middle East as international envoy on Monday, meeting Israeli leaders who promised to try to revive the long-stalled peace process with the Palestinians.
"It is time to renew the process and I'm sure that the (Israeli) prime minister will do that in the nearest future," Haim Ramon, a senior Israeli cabinet minister and vice premier, told the newly retired British prime minister in Jerusalem.
Blair hopes to help bring an end to 60 years of peacemaking failure since Britain handed Palestine to Jews and Arabs who are still fighting over it.
"Mission Impossible," as skeptics have dubbed Blair's task for the Quartet powers, began quietly in what his spokesman called "listening mode."
"This is a critical point in time to create a turning point," Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni told Blair.
She said the prospects for a Palestinian state depended on a serious crackdown on militants and on the Palestinian government controlling all its territory and recognizing Israel's right to exist.
Blair, who earlier in the day met Jordan's foreign minister, said nothing in public.
On Tuesday, Blair will meet Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Salam Fayyad in Ramallah before talks in Jerusalem with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert.
"This is a preliminary visit to hear the views of key Israelis and Palestinians about the issues that have to be addressed in order to fulfill the demanding mandate Mr. Blair has taken on," the spokesman for the new envoy said.

BLAIR'S ROLE: The Quartet -- the United States, European Union, United Nations and Russia -- has asked Blair to present by September an initial plan for building ruling institutions needed to establish a viable Palestinian state alongside Israel.
But that limited mandate could expand later into a more direct peacemaking role between the parties, diplomats say.
That might unsettle Israel. Olmert's spokeswoman, Miri Eisin, made clear Israel saw Blair's role as supporting Palestinian institutions: "Seeing their capacity to rule grow will definitely help the bilateral track," she told reporters.
Blair faces serious obstacles to success in a role that has doomed his predecessors' efforts. A Palestinian state seems more remote than ever, with their territories divided between Hamas Islamists in the coastal Gaza Strip and Abbas's secular Fatah faction in the Israeli-occupied West Bank inland.
Israel's government may be too weak to deliver concessions such as the withdrawal of Jewish settlements. Many Arabs resent Blair's role in invading Iraq, and the Quartet remains divided over whether he should have a broader negotiating mandate.

Following is the text of a statement issued by the Quartet ( United Nations, Russian Federation, United States, European Union):

Quartet principals noted that recent events in Gaza and the West Bank make it more urgent than ever that we advance the search for peace in the Middle East. The Quartet reaffirms its objective to promote an end to the conflict in conformity with the Road Map, and expresses its intention to redouble its efforts in that regard. The urgency of recent events has reinforced the need for the international community, bearing in mind the obligations of the parties, to help Palestinians as they build the institutions and economy of a viable State in Gaza and the West Bank, able to take its place as a peaceful and prosperous partner to Israel and its other neighbours.

To facilitate efforts to these ends, following discussions among the principals, today the Quartet announced the appointment of Tony Blair ( United Kingdom) as the Quartet Representative. Mr. Blair, who is stepping down from office this week, has long demonstrated his commitment on these issues.

As Quartet Representative, he will:
Mobilize international assistance to the Palestinians, working closely with donors and existing coordination bodies;
Help to identify and secure appropriate international support in addressing the institutional governance needs of the Palestinian State, focusing as a matter of urgency on the rule of law;
Develop plans to promote Palestinian economic development, including private sector partnerships, building on previously agreed frameworks, especially concerning access and movement; and
Liaise with other countries as appropriate in support of the agreed Quartet objectives.

Tony Blair has departed from his ten year held British Prime Ministership. His old job is now held by Gordon Brown. Over, it was said, the displeasure of Javier Solana, European foreign policy and security chief, Tony Blair was given a position as The Quartet's envoy to the Middle East. This happened with the active backing of George Bush. Javier Solana was said to have unhappily gone along. Later it was announced that per Javier Solana, Tony Blair would have no power to mediate Middle East Israeli-Palestinian disputes.

As Prime Minister of England, Tony Blair and his lawyer wife, Cheri Blair, unquestionably became used to "living large." As a couple, they also while professing a form of Christian allegiances, flew their New Age flags flagrantly and blatantly. He is said to be keen to take over the one-time residence of the British High Commissioner for Palestine, with its ballroom and spectacular view of the golden dome of Al-Aqsa mosque.

The house, built of Jerusalem stone in 1931, was once the pride of British diplomacy and occupies a commanding position in West Jerusalem on the inauspiciously named Hill of Evil Counsel, where Judas is said to have negotiated his betrayal of Jesus. It has acres of lush gardens filled with delphiniums, roses and trees. After the British mandate ended in 1948, it was taken over by the United Nations.

The same article tells what we already know. Neither Blair nor Solana are happy about the present structure. It appears that Tony Blair is not happy with its limitations. It appears that Javier Solana is not happy with Blair's new job existing at all.

Twenty Billion Dollars in high tech arms sales to the enemies of Israel. Most of that is going to the great friends of the Bush family, the Royal Family of Saudi Arabia. The fact that Saudi Arabia is the number one financier of Islamic Jihad teaching around the world makes little difference to President Bush. Or the fact that 15 of the 19 terrorist of 9/11 were from Saudi Arabia is not important to the Bush family either. Or the fact that the large majority of the insurgents killing coalition solders are Saudis doesn’t count. That Saudi Arabia is a country sworn to the destruction of Israel. That over the past few years there has been numerous reports that al-Qaida has infiltrated the Saudi military mostly their Air Force and that they are planning to use a Saudi Air Force base Tabuk in North Western Saudi Arabia, to attack Israel, only 10 minutes from Eilat.



But when you consider that the Bush Road Map is in fact the Saudi Peace Plan you begin to see the connection. Today I heard Rice tell the heads of Arabs States in Egypt that the US was their friend and that Bush wanted to make sure they have what it takes to defend themselves. But the truth is he wants to make certain they have what they need to destroy Israel. Those of you living in the US need to prepare yourself once again, for God will not be mocked. These men and others unknown are moving forward with their plans and as conspiracy theory as that sounds I believe it is true. It would be very wise for each of you to stock up on food and lots of water in fact you can’t have to much water.



Bush has two very important political friends; one is Tony Blair who now heads up the negotiations and PR for the Quartet (UN, US, EU and Russia) his job is to make sure Israel gives up the mountains of Israel, Judea, and Samaria (West Bank). That it too will become a terrorist base just like Gaza to insure the total destruction of Israel. Bush’s second good friend is an enemy to the entire free world and his name is Vladimir Putin of Russia. Putin can do what Bush cannot and that is to make sure Iran is armed for its attack on Israel. Putin just made a deal with Iran to sell them 250 Russian Sukhoi Fighter – Bombers capable of striking Israel with heavy payloads even nuclear bombs. Bush also knows the first sign of attack on Iran they will send all they have at Israel, all the missiles and now the Russian Bombers. Knowing that Syria will unleash all of their long range missiles armed with chemical and biological warheads. So you see Bush is doing his part, while Blair and Putin are doing their part, and it is all aimed at Jerusalem. This may not make a lot of since to some because all they know is what comes across the TV News and you must know that is controlled. But there is a grand master plan that has several sides to it. One is the Illuminati has always started wars and rumors of wars so they can sell arms to the countries they are willing to sacrifice. They have of course a final plan for mankind and have been held back by the hand of God until this time. It would appear they have been turned loose and the world is in for a global holocaust.



So it seems that Israel just sits and waits for something to happen, knowing that Russia’s Putin, US President Bush, Tony Blair and other world leaders are dead set for destroying Israel. With North Korea and China doing all they can to supply the needed hardware for the coming war against Israel. I find it amazing that the American people are so gullible to go for the spin that comes out of the White house, you see Bush knows he cannot openly state his purpose of destroying Israel that he must do it with much deception and camouflaged behind a act of being a great Christian and that is not my judgment on Bush just the plain facts.



For a couple of years or more I’ve been shouting that Bush is the most dangerous man that has ever sat in the Oval Office, now many are seeing that I was right. Some tell me that Bush is a good Christian man, that he just doesn’t understand the Scriptures in regards to Israel, and that he has bought into the replacement theology. If that is true his stupidity still is bringing the judgment of God down on the US. And you can believe that there are Islamic terrorist cells all over the US just sitting there waiting for the order to cut loose with the worse horrible attack that will make what happens in Israel look pale in comparison. This time Israel will not be able to depend on the US to save them, they will be forced to look at the One who put us on this land.



My KJB tells me that God will save Israel but it also tells me that terrible things will happen and have to happen to bring His people back to Him and they will seek Him with all their hearts.



The Devil has turned loose his final plan and it now looks like Islamic Terrorist are his main weapons against God’s people and mankind in general, but there is a more cynical and dangerous enemy prepared by the Devil, it is a group of men who believe they are saving mankind by killing two thirds of it. For those of you who have read and studied God’s Word have come to the conclusion, possibly you haven’t put it together quiet yet but you will.



The truth is there isn’t a whole lot you and I can do about it, other than to realize we are not citizens of this world but have been born again into the Kingdom of God. That eternity waits for us if we but overcome in that name above all others, Yeshua. For us it is a spiritual battle and the victories we may have in the natural world around us will only serve to be a witness for the One we know as God.



I know this letter will frighten some and infuriate others, some will simply unsubscribe, but after much prayer I have decided to send this out knowing the consequences. It is my prayer that it will cause you to prepare to help your family first and above all else, for some very hard days are coming. I would also ask you to consider what God has called us to do, and realize we have precious little time to get ready.



In the coming week it is necessary for me to travel outside of Israel, it is a very difficult time for me to leave Connie for fear of war separating us, but we both know we have to follow the leading of the Rauch Ha Kodesh (Holy Spirit). Contacts need to be made and other ministry operations need to be established. But of the greatest importance we simply need a larger boat and we are many thousands of dollars short of being able to shop for that boat. I can only ask you to pray asking God what your part in this Ministry is.

SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL by Barry Chamish

I'm back from a four lecture tour of NYC and environs. I was there during Tisha B'Av, a fast which commemorates the loss of the First and Second Temples. I heard one rabbi lecture on the night of the commemoration and one at its end. The first rabbi, David Rybstein, declared there cannot be two peoples on one land, the second in Woodmere, mourned the sad fact that there aren't twelve people trying to redeem the Holy Temple. Neither rabbi mourned the much sadder fact that this may well be their last Tisha B'Av with Israel. Welcome to America...1938. From my tiny sample, allow me to expand and declare, Americans, Jews and not, don't know that Israel is now spinning out of control. The spin will drift into raw chaos if Olmert is ever indicted by the police for his manifold crimes. Then, the new deputy prime minister, Chaim Ramon will take over the land for its last days. Ramon was installed barely a couple of months after being convicted of the lewd crime of French-kissing an 18 year old soldier, needless to say, against her will. Ramon, as doubtless no one remembers, was given mounds of American advice and money to take over the national union, The Histadrut. So, just a few months off pedophilia charges, he could very well be, the last ugly face holding the PM's post. Next, let's destroy the Jewish National Fund (JNF). This is the backbone of Jewish sovereignty in Israel, owning and guarding the land of Israel for the Jews. It all began in June 2006 when for the first time, an Arab, one Ra'adi Sfori, was made a director of the board by the far-left Meretz faction. This month, former Meretz head Yossi Sarid called for a strike against the JNF unless it handed out its real estate to Arabs. Of Sarid's many acts of deadly treachery, I am reminded that it was he, Shimon Peres and US documents thief Sandy Berger, a member of the Council On Foreign Relations (CFR), who led the campaign to wreck the Israeli gains of the Lebanon War of 1982. Enter Shimon, feh, phooey, ichseh, Peres, President of the Israel he hates and is conspiring toward its end. To be really prepared, Google a CFR membership list and see that I'm right. His New Jersey pals, CFR members Zuckerman and Tisch, are actively assuring that Arabs get a "fair" share of JNF largesse, much to the deceit of actual JNF contributors. (See notes). And who will oversee the latest and last transfer, none other than Olmert's first backer, the President of the JNF's board, Ronald Lauder of the CFR? The answer is that our rulers control the levers of public opinion. Unable to answer Chamish’s allegations, which keep getting confirmed while their rationalizations keep getting disproved, they smear him personally. A little innuendo here, an old peccadillo there, and people fall into line. In the police state of Israel, spectacular news by Chamish or other muckrakers gets killed by media silence. It’s too frequent and systematic to be coincidental. We Jews have been through this, before. According to the Bible, even Moses, backed by God, found his people often uncooperative. Prophets were inherently unpopular, because they advocated against the status quo and demanded difficult behavior and action to stave off disaster. People prefer to believe in providence but not in the divine. The modern, secular prophet, Vladimir Jabotinsky, warned the Jews of Europe to flee, starting in the 1920s. The Establishment smeared and discredited him. You know what happened -- millions of Jews, not to mention others, got killed. Chamish is making the same warning, now. Thousands of Jews got killed, and millions are about to. How so, you ask? Simple. Syria has about 40,000 missiles. Hizbullah has about 20,000. S. Arabia has missiles trained on Israel’s southern air force bases. Hamas has missiles, too. The Arabs could fire 20,000 missiles a day, for four days. (Many are short-range. Israel might survive, but its people would be too demoralized to persist. Then there’s Egypt’s first-class military.) The first day, Tel Aviv would be destroyed, military communications along with it. That would be the end of the IDF as a coordinated force, whose units move in convert, planes protecting tanks, etc.. The runways would be broken up, so the airplanes could not take off. After four days like that, Arabs would sweep in for the spoils, raping all the women and children and murdering the rest. They would exterminate six million Jews, half the current population of Jewry. All it would take is the outbreak of war. (American Jewry’s contribution would be to add a wing to the Holocaust Museum.) Israel’s only hope would be for the government to threaten the Arabs with hundreds of nuclear weapons. Not likely. Pilots are quitting the air force, because they object to bombing people. That is pacifism gone crazy. Worse, the government does not take measures in Israel’s defense. As Chamish details it, every Prime Minister after Begin acted to weaken Israel before the Arabs. (Begin was undermined to do so, too.) They give up strategic territory, give the Arabs arms, release terrorists, keep the people largely disarmed, abandon effective weapons manufacturing, let the Arabs violate agreements, fail to drive home military victories, sabotaged the Lebanon war to discredit the Likud Party, which Sharon eventually practically wrecked. The Left politicalized the Army and turned it against loyal Jews. People think Netanyahu better, but he used subterfuge as an excuse to cede control over most of Hebron. As Finance Minister, he reduced spending on defense. Why do the Prime Ministers do this? Stupidity, appeasement-mindedness, extortion by prosecutors? Yes, but that is not all. The Prime Ministers more or less are US or European agents. The State Dept. gets politicians in place to succeed others. Peres corrupts some of them, so as to get a blackmailers hold over them. The basic motive of Jewish leaders (usually rich or corrupted secularists), according to Chamish, is a centuries-old, anti-Jewish plot by the Sabbatean heretical sect, gone underground. The Vatican, represented by Spain and representing southern Europe, wants to secure Jerusalem. In the US, the Council on Foreign Relations brings together the power brokers who quietly issued a plan to strip Jerusalem from the Jewish state. Chamish does not think that jihad plays much part in this, except that the Muslims are incited against Israel. If you don’t want to accept the claim against the Sabbatean’s, the rest suffices to explain what is happening. Another way the Left controls the people is by repressing the news that might arouse them. A third way is by subverting the justice system. Some Orthodox Jews who realize the problem have more hope. They maintain their faith in God as the never sleeping watchman over the Jewish people. Some think the support of the 70% of Evangelical Christians who support Zionism sufficient to stay the State Department’s hand. Some think that Moshe Feiglin, striving to take over Likud from within, and return it to a nationalist policy, can succeed, because he acts in the name of God. Unfortunately, Israel’s rulers eliminate challengers, one way or another. Israelis still are too divided, the secularists still don’t trust the religious, the Shas party purportedly is religious but is corrupted and its followers obey their leader unthinkingly, Israelis don’t like to vote for underdogs, and they think that if Netanyahu opposes Olmert, he must be good.

Talks lay the groundwork for a Palestinian state

Ehud Olmert, the Israeli Prime Minister, said yesterday that he hoped to begin talks on creating a Palestinian state soon, dropping months of resistance to holding discussions on the core issue of statehood for the West Bank and Gaza.

In his first talks in the West Bank with Mahmoud Abbas, the Palestinian President, the Israeli leader broached the thorny subject of “end-game” issues, according to Saeb Erakat, the chief Palestinian negotiator.

The two leaders met at a hotel in Jericho, just south of Jerusalem - the first time that an Israeli Prime Minister has held peace talks on Palestinian soil since before the second intifada broke out in September 2000.

Israeli officials insisted that the talks had been restricted to how both sides viewed the shape of a future Palestinian state. However, Salam Fayyad, the West Bank Prime Minister, said the two leaders discussed “how to reach an agreement on an independent Palestinian state as quickly as possible”.

Mr Olmert held out hope for the Palestinians, who have complained that the Israeli focus on modest trust-building was thwarting their hopes to move ahead with serious talks that would actually give them a political horizon.

“I came here in order to discuss with you the fundamental issues outstanding between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, hoping that this will lead us soon into negotiations about the creation of a Palestinian state,” he said.

That an Israeli leader had ventured into Palestinian land - albeit the safest of Palestinian towns, and with a heavy Israeli security presence - was regarded as symbolic of the trusting relationship that the two men are trying to forge.
