If only the guy would add stats to prove his point on oil depletion being at 5%...
Quote: | At some point, possibly soon, rising prices for some crops will trigger declines in per-capita consumption.
And high prices encourage farmers to keep ramping up production, ultimately leading to a glut of whatever crop is hottest -- and lower prices.
arbitrage opportunities in farmland-rich Russia, Paraguay and Uruguay.-

The combination of high oil, high food and high minerals will provoke a recession. Too much inflation pressure to sustain the credit bust.
But even that could prove to be temporary since we haven't seen the political pressure to recycle rare minerals, use the lower cost-more efficient brazilian ethanol and sudan potential to grow crops.
All this bring us to a necessary nato-shanguai cooperation council joint military operations, the creation of neutral zone in canada to educate war victims from sudan, irak, lebanon, nigeria, congo, sri lanka and afghanistan with the money from BRIC state investment bank. _________________ What is possible if you take into account the amount of cynism by the majority who vote? |

So is peak oil theory and that "latoc" site true then? In Alex Jones' Endgame he made a fleeting reference to the impending (peak)oil crisis as basically being untrue and just a way to bump up prices in the name of "saving the planet" by taxing us into the ground? _________________ God tells me he can get me out of this mess, but he's pretty sure you're fucked... |

Nothing new, the oil crisis of 1973 and 1979 was faked, it was just to pull prices up. The only thing new is bump up prices in the name of "saving the planet". There´s a new all taxes that´s waiting for us... |
