Dear All,
In this eve of a bad end of week, could you check some regulars in Bilderberg to find the one of others coming in Greece in those days?
I am trying on my side, without not a lot of confirmation. Add two other personalities than Barroso and Trichet ( Trichet venue is really important because INUSUAL) and i will engage my authority full and entire.
The chances of Greece are now 80% ( two weeks ago =65%)

THE BALKAN CRISIS IN GREECE
*****************************
As everybody knows ( i hope so) these lasts weeks , FYROM (macedonia) pushed by Washington administration to enter NATO, was vetoed by Greece in Bucharest (april 2-4) for a denomination reason about confusion about its province of Macedonia and the name of this republical which is the same. NAturally Macedonia is complaining in Washington. In Greece, instead, the country signed the agreement about the russian 'south stream' gas project instead the 'Nabucco' project ( the choir of Nato slaves ).Putin was in Athens last week to sign this important treaty making in practical the Balkans escaping from the grip of US imperialism.

Milososki in Washington

Sources: ÍÅÔ 105.8
FYROM Foreign Minister Antonio Milososki, who is in Washington, will meet with Condoleezza Rife to discuss matters pertaining to bilateral ties, as well as the name dispute. FYROMs media have reported that Skopje does not expect much to come out of this meeting. As per FYROMs state-run news agency, Milososki will claim that his country has proved its readiness to negotiate a matter brought up and imposed by Greece.
New Attack
Unleashing a new attack on Greece while speaking to journalists, the FYROM Foreign Minister said, "We [FYROM] feel that the other side is not ready to do the same," explaining, at the same time, that he believes Greeces objective is to look for excuses, as it seems that the name issue is being used by Greece to realise other, hidden aspirations associated with its concept of a pure nation and with the lack of respect to minorities.
Milososki said that the majority of the NATO states intend to create a climate that will make a compromise the necessary outcome of the bilateral talks. However, it remains to be seen whether something like that will come true, he added.
The Greek governments goal is to not strike a deal within 2008, argued Milososki, also noting that the problem lies with the fact that Greece has not realized that it will have to pay the price for its attitude. "Were they to know that they would pay the prize for their attitude, they might change their mind," Milososki concluded.

let's not forget that may 9th is Europe's day! where is going to be & celebrate everybody? we might pay attention to this... we might not have bilderberg meeting this month... but rather next month.
Also, Eurozone growth shows signs of slipping as ECB meets in Greece
...
The ECB governing council is meeting in Athens at a twice-annual event organised in a eurozone capital, hosted this time by Greek central bank governor Nicholas Garganas, who is to step down when his term expires in June.

http://ec.europa.eu/commission_barroso/president/index_en.htm
is now showing that Barroso will visit Mexico on 5/12 and 5/13.
Zoellick just ended a 2 day visit with Mexican Pres Calderon.

And this follows the April SPP meeting that Bush, Calderon, and Harper attended in New Orleans:

Logical that the North American Union will again be a Bilderberg topic this year. Remember last year Texas Governor Perry and Kansas Governor Sibelius attended to receve their orders to push for the NAFTA superhighway nonstop from the west coast of Mexico to Kansas.
From the World Bank, IMF, and EU website calendars, Bush's visit to Israel, the proximity of Bilderbergers to Greece/Spain noted, if BB2008 happens in May it has to be this weekend. |

mbassador to Kabul appointed
The Government decided today to appoint Svante Kilander as Ambassador to Kabul. Sweden is thereby strengthening its diplomatic presence in Afghanistan.
"The decision to establish an embassy in Afghanistan is being taken in light of Sweden's extensive engagement in the country and demonstrates the importance that the Government attaches to developments in Afghanistan," says Minister for Foreign Affairs Carl Bildt.
Since 2003 Sweden has been represented in Afghanistan by a section for development cooperation and through the Swedish Embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Government decided to establish an embassy in Kabul on 19 December 2007.
Ambassador Svante Kilander will be leading the embassy's work. A comprehensive risk analysis and extensive measures have been required to ensure an acceptable level of safety for staff there.
--------
Sweden has had diplomatic relations with Afghanistan since the 1940s. Relations today between Afghanistan and Sweden are very good. Sweden has been part of the International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (ISAF) since 2002 and contributes 365 soldiers to this mission. In 2007 total Swedish development cooperation in Afghanistan amounted to just over SEK 380 million.

DEAR ALLS
**********
Here follows some informations making certain something is not working this week. Last week was perfect to obtain the meeting. At the end of this week and if and only if the meeting was occuring ( last week was the most perfect week for it), it was not in Greece.
So the idea of Maximus is a correct one, but you have to ask the list of members of Bilderberg and in the case the meeting is not yet occured, the city of occurence.
Naturally it can still occur in June.I have some doubts about it. I reckognize my failure, but with so little infos, it was so difficult. But i got enough information about the dates of Venue. I mistaken the place, and am so confuse to have made a mistake. We were not really prepaired to work on a hallali base , as in a chase.
Most than probably the meeting occured last week.Les probably this week.
So, use the Maximus idea, asking for the list and if no list for the place.
Why not?
if meeting occured as i think, you'll get the list and the place.
If not, you get nothing.
Marek,
FROM SWEDEN- CARL BILDT

"I feel the deepest sympathy with the people of Burma/Myanmar, who have suffered staggering losses of life and vast material devastation as a result of tropical cyclone Nargis. The Swedish Government would like to offer its sincere condolences to the people of Burma/Myanmar and to the survivors of those who have died.
"All efforts must now be concentrated on helping the survivors and alleviating their distress. The international community, including Sweden, stands ready to provide urgent humanitarian assistance. I appeal to the authorities in Burma/Myanmar to cooperate fully with the international community and aid organisations, particularly with regard to visas, clearance and distribution of supplies, and access for aid workers to the areas affected, so that the much needed assistance can reach the people."
IMF Executive Board Completes Seventh and Final Review Under the Stand-By Arrangement for Turkey and Approves US$3.65 Billion Disbursement
**************************
Press Release No. 08/106
May 9, 2008
The Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) today completed the seventh and final review under the three-year SDR 6.66 billion (about US$10.8 billion) Stand-By Arrangement for Turkey, which was approved on May 11, 2005 (see Press Release No. 05/104). The completion of this review enables Turkey to draw immediately the remaining balance under the arrangement, equivalent to SDR 2.25 billion (about US$3.65 billion).
The Board also approved Turkey's request for waivers of non-observance of the end-December 2007 quantitative performance criteria in the fiscal area (primary balances of the consolidated government sector including and excluding state economic enterprises, overall balance of the social security institutions, and consolidated primary spending of the central government and social security institutions).
At the conclusion of the Executive Board's discussion on Turkey, Mr. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, Managing Director and Chairman, stated:
"The Turkish economy has continued to perform reasonably well despite a challenging external environment, with economic activity showing resilience and foreign direct investment inflows remaining buoyant. However, supply shocks have raised inflation, and turbulence in global credit markets has heightened Turkey's external financing risks. Recent domestic political developments have also weighed on investor sentiment. In response to these external and domestic developments, Turkish financial markets recently unwound some of last year's large gains.
"The authorities have responded to these challenges by taking important steps to bring their economic program back on track. Adoption of the social security reform is a major achievement that will contribute to the long-run sustainability of public finances. Recent actions to strengthen tax administration, reform the energy sector, and enhance bank prudential requirements are also welcome.
"Short-run macroeconomic policies will need to balance carefully the desire to support growth with the need to contain inflation and the current account deficit. From this perspective, it will be essential that the authorities adhere closely to their updated plans for this year to target an unchanged primary surplus relative to 2007 of at least 3½ percent of GDP. This revised target creates room to decompress infrastructure spending and bring forward a worthy but costly cut in labor taxes. New initiatives that further erode the structural fiscal position should be resisted to preserve the downward path of public debt and avoid further unwarranted pressure on monetary policy to stem inflationary pressures. From this perspective, it is important to make the envisaged reform of subnational governments' finances fiscally neutral.
"The central bank has revised upwards its inflation forecasts in response to a series of shocks to food and energy prices as well as a weakening in the lira, while reaffirming its medium-term target of 4 percent. It has also appropriately adopted a tightening bias. Entrenching the credibility of the inflation targeting regime requires that the central bank respond promptly to broadening price pressures by tightening monetary policy and avoid lifting prematurely its tightening bias once inflation is back on a declining path.
"To anchor fiscal policy expectations, the authorities have announced a new medium-term fiscal framework that aims to cut gross public debt by some 10 percentage points of GDP within five years. This objective is underpinned by a policy commitment on the primary surplus, which is targeted to decline from 3 percent of GDP in 2009 to 2½ percent of GDP in 2012. Achieving these targets will require continued efforts to enhance revenue collection and significant discipline in restraining current spending. The authorities are encouraged to formalize their medium-term fiscal framework by adopting an explicit fiscal rule.
"Turkey has achieved considerable success by adhering to the Fund-supported program that is now drawing to a close. Looking ahead, Turkey's challenge will be to press forward on the reform path to further entrench macroeconomic stability and decisively lift potential growth to facilitate convergence toward EU income levels," Mr. Strauss-Kahn said.
POLITICAL EVENTS IN GREECE
*************************************
Greeces Prime Minister Kostas Karamanlis will brief the House when and if the talks on OTE (Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation) conclude and the relevant agreement will not take effect unless it is ratified by the House, replied Finance Minister Giorgos Alogoskoufis to an interpellation filed by SYRIZA (Coalition of the Radical Left). Alogoskoufis stressed that the responsibility for national security, labour talks and price increases will lie with the state, while it will have the right to name the Organisations head. He then went on to blast the opposition parties for adhering to a third-world-like policy, since, as he said, OTEs nationalization demands at least 2 billion and 300 hundred euros. Alekos Alavanos, head of SYRIZAs parliamentary group, answered in German, claiming that the Finance Minister cannot understand the language used in the talks with Deutsche Telekom and blamed the Prime Minister for walking out of the House out of guilt, because the deal pursued is colonial-spirited. "There will be absolute balance within OTEs board," Transport Minister Kostis Hatzidakis told NET television. He also referred to Greeces veto rights and to the price policy. Socialist deputy Vasso Papandreou, on the other hand, told NET radio station that the Government does not have a telecommunications policy. Instead it is merely trying to close some holes, she claimed.

Hi guys.
Unfortunately I am oblidged to inform you that 'Westin Athens Palace' and probably the whole Athens are no more valid as the Bilderberg 2008 venue..... I did an autopsia by my self !!! A magnificent place indeed, but with no security measures- anybody could entry !! The peculiar thing was that very few people were in the hotel, though it had declared a 'sold out' !!! Could the no-availability report have been a disorientation action from the bilderbergers, considering their good relations with the administrative board of the hotel?
So, it remains to us the sequent conclusion: If Greece, it should have been last weekend!! Last chance could be the aegean island Rhodes, with a long tradition in secret societies, ideal venue for personalities from Middle East to gather there. In these days the U.S. aircraft carrier 'Harry Truman' has arrived there !! On the opposite side two main suspects to participate, George Papandreou and Dora Bakoyanni have had political activities today. And if this weekend passes, perhaps we shoul no more consider Greece a possible venue, since touristic flow will be rising up,which would make difficult for them to secure secrecy !!!
Anyway this year's Bilderberg meeting is the most secret of all last years, which generate many suspicions about their motivations and plans!!!
I wouldn't consider anymore a report, containing date, venue, participant list and agenta, faked, for many reasons.
Salute |
